Well....it's a well planned media frenzy to prepare minds of people globally so that they are not in shock when HAARP weapon is used at a specific date to cause chaos!

The world is not ending in 2012. But the people planning for it won't humanly live beyond their average age, that's for sure!

You're not only supporting your family but are also an integral part of the economic machinery of your host country. For what I have seen so far, Expats work way harder than the local population with more focus and resolve.

By the way Muscat is a dead place comparing with a metropolitan city hustle bustle....but Oman in general is beautiful, calm and quiet. Way better beaches than the UAE. Very hot in temperature though! I always prefer to drive to Muscat (almost 5 hours).

And you're lucky you can have a vacation in Salalah....amazing place.
