Is it worth the agro?
I have learnt a lot here in the blogs, by observing people and their attitudes and comments, and of course by participating in the blogs. Its not an accurate expression of who they are but it does give us some inkling of the measure of the person. It has also opened my mind to different views on topics which I hadn't given much thought to previously
Life is full of its own twists and turns, and its curve balls and torments, its turmoils and its frustrations.
Crazy things have been happening here lately . . .
Is it worth the frustration?
Is it worth the sleepless nights?
Is it worth the mess it makes in your daily life?
The last thing anybody needs is to have loathing or even hate eating up the lives for someone they have never met, or not even likely to meet
that happens often enough in real life.Here we have the opportunity to tune people in or out of our lives or even just for the day, without hurting their feelings.
giving us the spce we need if and when we need it.I think getting onto CS blogs offers a measure of escape from the norm for many, while for others it has been a means for expression of their feelings or even a journal of their day to day lives.
What we get out of it is what we put into it . . .

I was appaled and at the same time I laughed at the uncontrolable hatred spitted towards me by two female blogers here. If there was a way, they would literally tear me. You know what is in the base of the female hatred usually? MEN. JEALOUSY. ENVY.

why do you all are so involved into site?
I have been here already three times ( always when we relocate...) and I think to live my private real life with passions to real people is much fun and much natural.
I know, officially this site is a "dating site" ... but it is not true anymore for rather long time.
Site is a kind of social clubbing - I can see... so, try to socialize and enjoy. Only my input into discussion

Their technique of expressing their low life-style results in them participating in these "character bashing" blogs, sometimes very bluntly and or in the most exquisitely expressed "Harvard English" as if that lends credibility to their personality!
I think our most(now MIA) brusquely expressed blogger, 10K put it most succinctly when he posted a reproachful comment on some lame blog, by one "Laughing Chandelier"
10K wrote "50 replies to a ZERO Word Blog!" Yes, LC has posted an empty blog - not a single word & he solicited 50 comments from the dull, mundane, boring & maddening crowd!
Edit ~ Thomas Hardy (1874) must have foreseen the future!

Would be for a collective good if they do. But if they dont, at least we take notice and speak our part.....that's more important!

Ariel - Trolls just escalate the normal defensiveness and bad feelings. If any wish to escalate without the assistance of a troll, they certainly can do whatever they wish. I just don't like misery... mine or anyone else's and to say it's all about defending ourselves and free speech is just avoiding responsibility for our own bad behavior.
It's rare that I witness misery that wasn't created by a human.
