"What does love mean?"
A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds,________________________________________
"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore.
So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

Karl - age 5

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more.
My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"

I just love the things that kids say
No doubt there are those who bandish easy smooth sounding words in the hopes of an easy score, but that is not what LOVE IS . . .
"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."
Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)
I think we all experienced that at some level
Its crazy

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Brad Pitt."
Chris - age 7
I thought that these kids told us the meaning of love very well
I can't define what love is in words, but I could only hope that I can sincerely express the love I have for ones that I care about in my life
Happy weekend to you
There is so much wisdom in those innocent voices.
"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."
Jessica - age 8
One of the things i have learnt is that we have to love ourselves first, before we can understand why others would love us
Imagine this one.....
"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." (what an image)
Karen - age 7
when we could exercise these qualities we can be of a better people just as in the answers of the youngstars above, like giving all you have to the other without think if you would get any, doing for the other even if you are unable to, love is all about proving yourself in the times when you are expected to stand and when you do stand your love would really be seen
Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.
When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,
"Nothing, I just helped him cry"
If we could have the pureness of heart, the unselfishness and the innocents which exist in the hearts of young children, maybe then it wouldn't be so difficult to find real love within our hearts and around us
Kids say the darndest things
Big hug for you my friend
Okay, can you just repeat that . . .
was it love to suffer or suffer in love or WHAAAAAAT!!!!!!
Nice one
but found it relevant and amusing
