Lachi is a very nice-sweet-beautiful-lovely lady. I am lucky to know such a warm person like her. When she smiles, you know she meant it, because her eyes also smiles. We talked for more than 2 hours and did not realize how time flies. Had not it been because we have had another appointment, I'm sure we would continue chatting. Thank you for taking your time to meet me Lachi, hope we can keep in touch and gather again with some more CS friends. Yes, count me in your gathering plan
Redex, thank you. Yeah I think this will be great, having new friend is great. I like Lachi’s blog and I think she has this kind of sense of humor. So I guess we’ll have fun tomorrow.
Lachica, you’re still awake and read see you tomorrow and thank you for your kindness to meet me
Captain, I’m sorry I got to meet her first. Go to sleep and psssst I'll tell you how lovely and beautiful she is
Nella, thank you. I love it too, looks good and surprisingly confortable.
Richard, true, we sometimes need to do something to feel good about ourselves. But a good friend of mine reminded me that I succeded for being my self hehehe
Anyway, the project is cancelled, because they said my budget for the project is too big. The thing about dealing with those (advertising) agency is sometimes they refuse to say their budget, then when we say ours, they said "Oh, it's out of our budget" without ever telling how much their budget is.
So I will be in Bali next week, instead of working, for a writing's retreat. It will be a nice break for me after 2 weeks holiday with my kids. I'll have my own holiday now. Ain't life good?
I just hope people can view and worship God in a different way. Respecting others with different values is one way, IMO. Here, in my country, bad things in the name of religion is also happening. People killed because they believe in something different than the majority. For ages religion has been used as tools to control and manipulate people, to obey the authority, can be country or bigger organization. But there is still hope, I hope...
funlaugh, there's no right or wrong in determining what you want in life. The important thing is you have been honest about it, and once you say yours, the other party should respect it. Honesty, that's what counts. Good luck in your search
Hi exotic, supposed there is such pill, would you want one that can erase only bad memories or both? because the good memories are nice to remember, no? My friend once wrote a short story of a river which water if you drink it can help you erase memory. So this young guy walk miles away in grief for he has lost his girlfriend in a war. But when he reached the river, he did not drink the water because he still want to keep the good memories of her. He couldn't bear the thought of forgetting her at all, so he bear the pain of loosing her, as long as he can still remember the good memories.
Morgen, yeah I know that feeling, been there when your partner met someone else behind your back. And some people just never change. Now they've been together for almost 3 years and I know whom else he's been with behind her back.
wafwotam, I did not say anything about pushing the erase button. And love is not about being together, so breaking up does not mean erasing her/him from your life. At least for me. Maybe it means we are heading to different direction, or maybe it's time to stop being lover and just be friend.
virgo! 1993?! rrrrrr don't you think you gave too much details?
Ed1, I can see you've been here done that and yes, move on is the only sane option. but sometimes, some people feel they have to go insane a lil while before realizing the right thing to do
wafwotam, in my opinion, if you love her that much, then you should understand if she chooses another path and be happy for her even if it means you are out of the picture.
Richard, I was working as an editor in a city life magazine, when the opportunity to become a freelance scriptwriter came. Being an editor as such magazine was pretty much a structured-unstructured life. In the early month after finishing giving assignments to contributor and writer, I could come to the office late in the afternoon. But later approaching deadline means staying late at the office. So I guess I was used to a so called unstructured life hehehe
The transition was not too hard, as a freelancer scriptwriter for a tv series the routine was also structured-unstructured. I got weekly deadline, but I'm the one who managed how and when and where. Now it's even more loose since I don't write series anymore. I work whenever I feel like to, or when my bank account is approaching zero hehehe
Richard, guess as a freelance I have been living an unstructured life these past 10 years. Being a freelance gives me freedom to work whenever-wherever. My only routine would be waking up in the morning thinking where I want to work that day. The answer could range from my study room or some unexpected places. I could just get up, pack my things and go to the airport, thinking where to go along the way. I like surprises ;)
