I will pray for her instead of repling to silly blogs on this website.
A child's life is so precious.
I am thinking of her all alone and frightened.
I know what is like.
Keep your spirits up
Wednesday??? Is she alive? blues blues blues
She's probably dead. Hope not though.
Not until they say she is dead.
Be positive for her
There are cases when after earthquakes babies (under 1 yr-old) were found after days... Kids are stronger than we think!
This is what I hate about this site
IS SHE DEAD
Be positive and say I HOPE SHE IS ALIVE

Don't be so bloody morbid0

I am not religeous but I am praying for her
I hope she will be OK.

I do wonder about a four year old running around at 11pm at night though.
Sorry Aussie. I got let down by several ones i had hope in at this place the last few days (too) so you're not alone on that.

Yes i hope Mahi will be ok really.
Hammock absolutely right! The poor parents are actually the guilty ones... I hope God will forgive them this time!
Back in the 80's there was a worldwide news story about a verry small child that fell in to a well . It was a few days untill they got her out but she was still alive . If they are extraditing the well then I think she will be alright . You might also pray for the workmen as they are probably the ones most likly to need all the help they can get now .
The blame is alreasdy going out.
I am not religous but
He is without sin throw the first stone
Aussie she was not sleep walking but playing with other children "outside the home near the borewell". It's a luck that other children have not fallen too! I guess the parents were celebrating at that time...

Please, don't control us what to comment. handshake
Dear Aussie, I'm not religious and therefor do not belive in the concept of sin, so if you see a rock wizzing by your head it probably has my name on it . . . .laugh laugh laugh
Sorry. I will go to the corner
Aussie, it's not the time to blame anybody, but we still can't stop ourselves wondering...

Good night everybody and I hope we ll have positive news very soon about Mahi! thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up
I am not religious but I will join anything to save a childs life.

the child will be very hurt after falling that far , and if there's water in there , whats stopping her from drowning ? wave
I hope she's alright... Please keep us update sweetiee
I have prayed and wish her protection.
I follow Calli's comment and I too pray for her!!
Praying for a child AFTER she has fallen down a hole is very much like parking an ambulance at the bottom of a cliff.

Save your prayers India. Fix your absolutley abysmall safety standards. In far too many locations on the sub-continent human life is not considered 'precious' enough.

I'm afriad that the idea of not assigning blame, while all very nice and PC, will not help to prevent future children falling down future holes.

India's multiple corrupt and self-serving administrations must lead by example and make public safety a vastly increased priority if 'accidents' like this are to be prevented everyday.
what ever it is she needs our prayer now...poor thing she is fighting for her survival....:(
As you might have guessed...I don't believe in the power of prayer. Praying is what people do when they feel helpless and have no new ideas about how to improve things in a practical sense.

This child, while her situation is undoubtedly dire, is just one of hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, who are fighting for survival in other ways. A better suggestion would be to find solutions to the problems of malnourishment, illness and those who are uncared for.

I believe that there are one or two of those children on the sub-continent.
