Baby Mahi No More

In a sad development, the doctors at ESI Hospital in Manesar on Sunday declared five-year-old baby Mahi as brought dead. The news came minutes after Mahi was pulled out of the 70-feet-deep borewell in which she had fallen on Wednesday night.

The rescue team pulled out the child at 1.38 pm after tireless efforts spanning over four days. She was immediately shifted to an ambulance stationed at the site and then rushed to the ESI Hospital.

After watching the media reports about this incident for the past few days, writing this post with pain and heavy heart...Unless we take some drastic action things and we shoulder responsibility to our surrounding things wont change.sigh sigh sigh anyway Salute to rescue team....
The little angel Mahi and her tragedy are the shock which has to make people change their attitude! Obviously, after so many similar incidents, nobody cared to prevent them! For the sake of poor Mahi, I hope something will be finally done!
I can't understand why precautions are not taken either it is by parents or by local government when so much cases has happened like it. Even SC has ordered to close down the borewells or keep a 1 foot boundary wall around them.
I have learned to looove corrupt officials... very mad
They tend to do everything they can-- as long as they can do it for their political "friends"...
And so children fall into bore-wells because no one bothers- and the rescuers get there too late because the officials are too busy doing things for their political "friends".
I wish I could say that Mahi was the last one; but I fear it will happen again- and again...
Remember Bophal? That was in India too- but it could happen in a lot of places...

May Mahi's death result in questions- lots of quetions!

And may she rest in peace... sad flower
May she rest in peace. And thanks for updating and sharing the news. hug
Officials are officials and we don't know if they are corrupted or not. But the closest people to one 4 yr-old kid are her family. They shouldn't leave a kid of 4 yr-old to play far from the house, in the dark, at 11 pm!
The death of a child is always sad , especially if it happens in a tragic way . We shed tears, we wring our hand and we point fingers of blame . We ask why did it happen an wonder why it isn't prevented . The truely tragic thing is that every year millions of children suffer and die because of wars, and greed, and indiference, and hunger, and desease and political divisions or even just apathy . When we hear of it we then just shed a tear, and wring our hands and point fingers of blame and ask why it happened and why it wasn't prevented . Yet the beat goes on ! Remember that you can't save the entire world but you can save a small piece of it . Rest in peace little Mahi and may we never forget you and others like you .
My condolence to the family and to the nation.

An incident like this affects everybodysad flower
very sadangel
