My 2 cheeky kids make me laughed very often too. Strange, when they really young, I never really enjoyed having them.
My maternal grandparents were around to help out and a nanny was around to take care of their needs. I was often away visiting their dad who was working in Singapore that time. I'd be gone for more than 2 weeks every 2 months.
Now, they are in their late teens, I find myself enjoying their companionship very much. My 17 year-old daughter is very close to me, telling me all her dreams, fears, crushes and what have you not.
My 16 year-old son is the funny one in the house. He's very close to his sister too. It's very nice to see the both of them so close and making each other laughed....
