Amen brother Jim, yes, I'm sure there were some who were tempted to fear and doubt, such as Peter who "sank beneath the waves"; "The priests stood in the middle of the dry riverbed while all the Israelites walked safely across." For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV. God bless!

Peace I Leave with You John 14:27-31
(See also, Romans 5:1-5)

27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. 29And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30Hereafter I will not talk much with you (Talking to His disciples.): for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. 31But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence. (Acts 1:8)

At the Heart of Discipleship Pt. 1

Dear neighbors Yubba vilamoura of Faro Portugal and Ian Manama Bahrain, In Matthew, when asked "which is the great commandment in the law?", the Greek New Testament reports that Jesus answered, "Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God, The Lord is One; Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind", before also referring to a second commandment, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." Most Christian denominations consider these two commandments the core of the Christian religion -- Praying the Lord will have mercy upon your misconceptions! Best of Love!

Warning Against Worldliness James 4:1-10 English Standard Version

1What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? 2You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. 3You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. 4You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? 6But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9Be afflicted and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

Martin Luther the Monk

Embedded image from another site

Aloha Pedalguy Canada, my dad had many years with the Christian
foundation, a very talented musician and a stand-up bass player for the Church he attended off and on throughout the years. Testified to me of the changes in his life of the physical plains, though when he passed away in the early 90's went to the "Prison's" or "Purgatory"... just got out last year 2014, and graduating to "Spiritual Retraining". Had many wonderful revelations of our future relations, yet the "Point" was a matter of Heart (Not Mind Only) and having the right concepts in regards to Salvation. Pray this helps your understanding. God bless!

You Are Beautiful!

Aloha dear Nidifugous and GentleJim, Thank you for sharing the wealth of Love that captures the heart springs of our present times! Yes Nidifugous, personally I'm not versed with Luther's flagellant personallity save I can respect why you chose "non religious" to your profile. True religion is more a matter of the heart, then the majority of expressions we find through the media fronts. Yet the principles brought out in the movie shared a greater resemblance of the Word though of their present time. -- Awesome Jim, thanks for the "Overcoming Faith" and Word of testimony! Bless and encourage your hearts!! Love You!!!

RE: Faith

GOD'S DELAYS ARE NOT DENIALS

God answers prayer, but not always our way. He is rarely rushed or in a hurry, as is evident in His Creation: It takes Him time to make a baby, a flower, a tree, a sunset--or even a blade of grass. You can't rush God.

You've got to wait till it's GOD'S time. Sometimes God delays answering prayer until you have learned the lesson He is trying to teach you. Or perhaps He is waiting for the circumstances to be ready for the result that He wants to bring. Take for example the man in the Bible who was blind from birth: He had had to be blind all his life, so that everybody would KNOW it, & so that when Jesus came along one day & marvelously healed him, God would be glorified. (See John 9.) It may sometimes take years before you know why God didn't answer prayer as you thought He should, or right when you asked Him to, but the time will come, & you'll know God was right! Wait on the Lord!

The greatest darkness is just before dawn, the greatest desperation is just before Salvation! The greatest hopelessness attacks just before rescue! So never doubt for a moment that God is going to answer--And He will! Trust Him & thank Him for the answer--even if you don't see it immediately! You'll be glad you trusted Him tomorrow!

God’s Silence - Final

Embedded image from another site

Aloha dear Dragon, here's wishing you a Happy New Year and the Best of Love and Life to Offer! GBY!

WHEN WE SEE GOD'S GLORIOUS CREATION, WE KNOW EVERYTHING IS UNDER HIS PERFECT CONTROL!

The heavenly spheres that God has made operate like the wheels of a great clock with perfect precision, virtually unvarying in course and speed and degree, unchanged for thousands of years since God first created them! There's not a thing out of time or out of sync or off its bearings in any way.--And they're going to endure as long as His throne, which is forever!

Think of what kind of controls and systems God must be using to control the Earth and its whole Creation and every man on it and every woman, every boy, every girl as well as every spirit!--Every angel and every devil!--All controlled and operating within certain limitations given them by God and controlled by His Spirit and His marvelous spiritual controls which guide and influence the heavens and the Earth and the Sun and the Moon and the stars, the planets, the Solar System, the Milky Way Galaxy and the entire Universe!

So why should we worry, when God's creation keeps right on faithfully going, constantly turning, revolving, rising and setting, not questioning, not worrying, not faltering, knowing God is in complete control!

God’s Silence Pt. 2

Aloha lovely Calmheartseeks, yes, here we find brother Derek pouring out his heart that "Though at times our feelings are brought to Silence", through rough times or obscurity, "God understands completely" and will surely bring the resolve--Yes, I would surmise also, "that God answered him, or "spoke" to him, within his heart!"

Dealing with Restlessness - Final

Embedded image from another site

Aloha precious Ummka, here's some light that may interest: No, God did not create angels with sin in them, nor humans. Sin came about because God gave to angels and humans the wonderful gift of freedom. God did not create us to be robots, but gave us some of His own freedom so that we could make genuine choices to love and serve Him. Of course, with that freedom comes the risk of using it to choose things that are contrary to God’s will. That is where sin came from.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22

It’s Never Too Late to Start Over - Final

Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

Wonderful and Lovely you are dear Wallops & Lyla, thank you for the precious fragrance of love and beauty you share! God Bless You!!

PRAISE YOUR WAY THROUGH!--THAT'S HOW YOU GET THE VICTORY!

Even the greatest men of God sometimes got discouraged, like King David. David was a great Psalmist, a great singer and he usually sang beautiful praises to the Lord. But one time before he was king, he was sure that Saul was going to kill him and he actually said, "Some day I shall surely die at the hand of Saul!" (1Sam.27:1).

Thank God David never wrote a Psalm saying that! How could you sing that? Did David ever die at the hand of Saul?--He never did! So that was just the Devil talking. The Devil is the one behind discouragement!

If you let the Devil use your mouth and you speak doubt and discouragement and the lies of the Devil, you are preaching the Devil's own doctrines! Don't do it, or you're just letting the Enemy in.

Take a positive stand against the attacks of the Enemy and fight the Devil and fight his doubts! The minute you feel discouraged, start praising the Lord, start going on the attack! As long as you've got a praise in your mouth, you can't complain and murmur!

The Enemy hates praise. He hates songs that praise the Lord and he hates God's Word most of all! So keep full of it! Praise is the Voice of Faith!--Amen? kiss
