RE: TRUST

Hi Phyllis,
I come from the school of thought that I try and see the best in everyone..But once the trust is broken it becomes hard to have faith in that person anymore..I usually give a person the benefit of the doubt unless I catch them in a lie..To me little lies can become big ones..

Of course in a love relationship trust is a pillar of the most importance..I'm generally a trusting person seeing the glass as half full..But don't mistake my kindness for weakness..

RE: MARRIAGE, Are You For It? Or Not?

Hi Phyllis,
To me marriage is a union of two souls that unite in a sacred bond..It is a permanent commitment that should bot be entered into lightly..

Studies show the couples live happier and healthy lives as well as the children..The children are less likely to have emotional issues down the line..

One should not just "settle" into a marriage due to a biological clock ticking or out of loneliness..It should be about spending your life with your lover and best friend..Your so called soul mate..

Although I am old fashioned I am not against a couple living together first to ensure compatibility..

These are my views based on the psychology of romantic love values shared between a man and a woman..

Regards,

Ken

RE: GRAFT AND CORRUPTION, etc?

Hi Phyllis,
A very tough and thought provoking question..This problem has a direct influence on poverty..Perhaps people rising up and speaking their minds in the form of letter writing to the select representatives..

Perhaps educational programs would be of importance..Providing adequate jobs so the poor would not be vulnerable to bribes and easy money..

Then of course citizens have to become law abiding and rise up to what is just..

No easy task..

Ken
