This bird is quite striking with its red beak and eyes and pink feet on this very black body. the Black Oystercatcher is on the endangered list with a mere 5000 pairs remaining. Amazingly this bird can live up to 35 years old and they only start breeding at three years of age.
Rainbow, I am a curious guy by nature and in all sincerety would really like to ask you a question. If you dont want to reply its ok. Are you living in Upingtong or Cape Town? I have have the priviledge of living in that great city for a few years previously. Upington I have just passed thru on my way to Cape Town or Namibia, but also not a 'too' small a village. Why Im asking you this is because every time I read your blogs I find it hard to believe we live in the same country. Your life seems filled with intrigue and mafia, ppl wanting to 'take you out' etc. Make no mistake, I enjoy your blogs.
Ariel...What can I say, except that the man that seals the deal with you will be one very happy man. Wish you well Jana, enjoy whatever you choose to do.
Lazly, thanks for gracing my blog.I always read every single word you write and I can ASSURE YOU I love them all. I think if you leave the blogs it will be a sad day for many here that enjoys your terminology and way/manner of you expressing yourself.
Dont ever change.
Your finger nails look as if you have spent quite some time on them, ,,,beautiful
Virgo, I recall when I was A youngster my friends dad worked in a bakery and always gave us a hot fresh loaf of bread. With real butter and coffee it was a feast fit for a king. Those were the days.
@ Shay,, Im happy for ya. Three cheers for Shay
@ Lavina,,, Ahhhh just got home? tell us about the coffee gossip
I think that 'pressure' you talk about is either anger or just typical womans reaction... A man knows when to duck so as not to be hit with verbal and/or flying objects
I think that most folk with a 'normal' good upbringing would act in this manner - or maybe not - some of todays kids and grown ups are all for themselves and would'nt even share a smile.

Ever since I could think for myself (while sober) I had a rule that I applied to my mouth, and that is when my turn comes around to say something about the person being discussed I would rather say NOTHING if I had nothing GOOD to say about said person. Only if I can say positive words about him/her then I'd elaborate. Most times my trap stays shut. Of course one gets the exception of the 'taunter'. Life has over enough obstacles that any 'sane' person has to overcome and does not need my contribution to their downfall. My Mom always used to say that it takes hours or sometimes minutes to flush ones name down the toilet and will take years and years to repair. Good to see you Jana.
Our last game against NZ we were at half-time:- Springboks 16-12 NZ In the second half we threw it away... hope we fare better with the Irish...
El, YES,,, and half time used to be a good 'indicator' as to the final score. NOt any more. I used say one can see which team is using the better quality drug after half time by the players actions.
