So out of the blue, God decides to save your son from cancer?
How do you know it was God that saved your son? Or is it that everything good that happens in your life, it's got to be because of God, and not something or someone else?

I think a certain someone, gets off on making blogs about God. To see certain followers and "connect" with them.
I bet you think I'm hating on you, don't you? In fact, it's far from the truth. Oh there's that word, TRUTH.
Every action and words that you speak, are not in the name of God. You are like a false prophet, making people think with all your blogs, that your this lovely Christian woman.
It's just not normal to be blogging about God on a dating site, and so many blogs.

I'm a Christian, and I know the Bible well enough, well enough to know a Bible basher when I see one. You don't need to preach the word of God, that's what priests and nuns are for.

@serendipity, you say that God created life and has the right to take life? That's just showing me and others just how naive you so called Christians are. No God has the right to take life, for if this were true, then wouldn't it be okay for us humans to do it as well? It's not the 10 Commandments anymore, it's 9. Because when you think about it, your God would have to be a hypocrite to add Do not commit murder, to the very Commandments that most Christians know.
And I totally agree with you whiteisfresh Sounds like we think nearly alike.

Now I have not tried this, but I will tonight, because the other day I got the flu. Now you can google this if you're unsure. Cut a small onion and put into a small jar, and place it near your bed. Onions are great for attracting bacteria, that is why you should not leave a used onion in your fridge. Good luck datatraveler31

Maybe Cain was right in offering fruit instead of lambs? Maybe he saw that it was wrong to kill innocent animals? Maybe he realised that there was something wrong and sought justice and killed his brother Abel?

Question: How could Cain have found a wife, when GOD only created Adam and Eve? Oh don't tell me, they left that part out of the Bible?

Another question: So which church do you go to? I only ask because there are so many different Christian religions, so which one is the right one?

The title of you blog is misleading I think. It should have been called, Why Becoming a Nun is a Fantastic Idea.
I fail to see why some people feel the need to sell God? Like he needs advertising. He doesn't work like that.
When I saw the title of the blog, I thought that it would be interesting, but it's just another one about God. I believe in God, and I believe in many things that so called Christians would turn their nose to. That's not faith, that's being one eyed and hypocritical.

nonsmoker, you can't ask anyone which is the best, because it comes down to a personal choice of what they think is the best. Now it's becoming a cliche' but, usually when it comes to books and films, the first is always the best. And if I'm right, the Bibles that followed after the first were changed, I guess to suit the times.
But does it really matter which one is the best? And how many times can you read the same book?

As a final note though, you're rather mouthy with your comments. Strange, for someone who claims to love God

There are songs about love & poets have written about it for centuries. I have seen real love. I have felt it. We are here looking for it, well most of us are, I think. But love is a feeling, and there are so many kinds of love, and yet it still remains a feeling. Love can be described in so many words, and in the end it still remains love.
