Honor and loyalty still exist, but I think along the way it has become more selfish, meaning, having more honor towards oneself instead of towards others. Honor is still alive, but like many things these days, it's so hard to find.

If you think you're being attacked, I'd hate to know what you would call it when followers of God are at war with other religious groups.

Lindsy there is a way, and the only way I can see this world being a better place, is if we all become selfless, (as I mentioned before). But sadly the world is an imperfect place filled with imperfect people. We as good people, have to remain strong and keep being ourselves, by doing the right thing by others, but at the same time, not to preach it, but lead by example. They say you can't teach old dogs new tricks, but you can with the pups. The youth is our future, and it is them we need to learn.

Well said lindsy. I think one of the major problems in our society today, is that so many people are so selfish instead of being selfless. Greed, and the need to control people, or even blind them from certain truths is a major thing too. I myself not that long ago, was so down with how people treated each other, that I felt I needed to totally get away from civilisation. Time will tell I guess.

You are welcome lindsy. I myself do not tolerate this kind of behavior of bigotry. And I will not stand by saying nothing, when these matters need to be addressed and dealt with.

Hear hear lindsyjones. Having free will, and having the ability to see without the blinkers on, gives a few of us on here, the advantage of seeing things more openly, logically and intelligently. You can't expect us to not ask questions and when they're not answered to keep silent about it. That's just illogical. And you can't say that the answers are in the Bible, because they are not, and that's just an excuse to not answer the questions yourself.

You are painting such a lovely picture of me in your mind already Gentlejim, and it doesn't matter what I do or say that's going to change that. So I'm not going to say, "I'm not what you think I am."

But you would rather take the word of someone you've never met, and not take my word of advice, "Go seek a priest" You'll know who's speaking the truth then.

OMG!!!! The Bible is a book of stories, nothing else. God does not speak from the Bible, not unless you're a bit loopy and hear voices.
And just so you know, I have read, the Old, the New and the Good News. THEY'RE JUST STORIES. Or in other words, pieces of history. You can't read the Bible and go, I've found God. It doesn't work like that. But anyway, my words are probably going to cause more debate, so I better stop. For now

One last thing, and I'm not directing this at you Gentlejim, And I've said it many times, but if you want to know facts about what's in the Bible, ask a priest or a nun. And you still won't listen to the guy who believes that God is an alien. Look, you won't meet a more honest guy than me, I'm serious. I've been serious all this time, but you won't listen to me. Fine. You can only help people so much.

Just because I'm not a sheep, doesn't mean I am blinded by the truth. Many who know me on CS, know well enough that I'm not that naive to BS. Who's arguing? Not me. I love a good debate. And such hateful words coming from a so called believer of God Gentlejim. Love thy neighbor, remember. As for sending you comments, I don't know what you are talking about. If you are referring to asking you questions in the blogs, sure I'll stop, when the BS stops.

Nay-Sayers Gentlejim? More like Truth-Sayers if you ask me. Be a sheep like the rest of the followers. We the Truth-Sayers already know what is BS and what's not. I dare any of you sheep to read those chapters and verses and you come come back to us with your answers. You won't do it because you're so blinded by the truth. NO WAIT. I got a better suggestion. Go to your local church and ask the head priest if man co-existed with dinosaurs.

I just want to ask, from what Bible are you giving examples that man co-existed with dinosaurs? It's a serious question, because if you read those chapters and verses you gave as examples, they have NOTHING to do with that at all.
Just because I have a belief that God is an alien, doesn't mean I haven't read the Bible. Nowhere in the Bible does it state that man co-existed with dinosaurs.

Socrates, to answer your question, I believe God IS an alien. I also do not worship God the alien either, if that is also what you are asking? I don't know what relevance it has to this blog, but at least I responded to you.

Not only was my blog about how I personally think, but I wanted to see who and how some people would respond to my words. For it has shown me exactly what I had expected to see. Thanks for your cooperation

fleur, how about you read what you said to Glatol and think about what you stated. A bit of a hypocrite really. You said, "respect to people and their opinions or beliefs." Glatol is honest enough to share her beliefs and opinions, and yet you tried to knock her down with your words. Quite annoying really.

Oh I agree with you there loulou. The media, and the money hungry companies out there, don't care about about what we really need. But they do know how to target people.
And the one thing I don't do is watch tv, as I know it's full of brainwashing commercials, and tv shows that cleverly sends messages to us. I'm not saying all shows are like this, but there would be quite a few.
