Scriptural reference to Gods love for man
The LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. We depend on the LORD alone to save us. Only he can help us, protecting us like a shield.Psalm 33:18, 20
"I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself."
Jeremiah 31:1
Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD . So rejoice in the LORD and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!
Psalm 32:10-11
The Word became human and lived here on earth among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father.
John 1:14
"God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it."
John 3:16-17
We know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's judgment. For since we were restored to friendship with God by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be delivered from eternal punishment by his life. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God -- all because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us in making us friends of God.
Romans 5:5, 8-11
We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love him and are called by him.
Romans 8:28
God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so very much, that even while we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's special favor that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ, and we are seated with him in the heavenly realms -- all because we are one with Christ Jesus. And so God can always point to us as examples of the incredible wealth of his favor and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us through Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:4-7
May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
Ephesians 3:19
Anyone who does not love does not know God -- for God is love.
God showed how much he loved us by sending his only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love has been brought to full expression through us.
And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.
1 John 4:8-13

Great blog as usual!
You can't explain God's love any better than that!
Thank you!
In my rising and nigh time prayers i always ask the Lord to rid the world of war and hate! Nothing is too big for Him!
Good blog!!
Well done on avoiding answering the question.
Sounds just like an abusive relationship.
Therefore I ask how many of you who believe would sacrifice your child if asked by God?
And dont get me started on so called christians spouting the bible yet not actually living what they preach, divorce anyone???
Glatlol, it's our time to 'waste' and although you don't understand it, we will do so anyway.
By the way, Glatlol, where is your proof that God is not real and that Jesus did not suffer painfully to save us?
Yes Ma'am! You hit the nail on the head. And the other guy too!
Well said.
Right on girl. And let's include Raven too. I love praying for people and showing the excellence of the Lord and Master to those that don't know the truth.
Waste of time? Hah! just the exact opposite. Love and patience for the unbelievers is my passion!
Believers live in fear of going to hell if they don't subjectively obey God. FEAR FULL STOP.
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
To Glatlol & Mrwilling...
you want to get - "this day, daily bread, forgivness, protection aginst evil",,, but you reject God
What you need is modesty and respect dear Glatlol & Mrwilling. Something we have learnt from being Christians.
Anyway God Bless you sister for your blog.
"No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love has been brought to full expression through us."
May I ask you a sinple question: As no one has ever seen "God",
how can one determine what gender this "entity" is? And also, what does it look like?
While you are down on your knees, love me, worship me, above all else, FEAR ME, for I am LOVE.
If for example, you were in a relationship with someone you love, would you fear them as well? Oh don't tell me, unless you are guaranteed a spot in Heaven right?
Did you have an extra bowl of stupid this morning?
BTW, I don't fear your "god" like I don't fear Donald Duck or any other fictional character. Unlike you, I'm free.
Very good clip...and it says it all...
I am still waiting for answers to my questions?
Maybe she is meditating, or still looking for an appropriate quote...
Don't know but the time difference could be the problem...hope things are well with you!!
First of all, thanks for the Lord's Prayer. Magnificent, holy and a perfect example of us speaking to the Creator.
I know this is sister Sharnah's blog but I am sure she won't mind if I say this. Welcome to the skeptics and unbelievers. It is God's plan for you to hear and for us not to argue with you. But as sister Sharnah said, "to love you as a creation of the mighty Creator".
All praise and credit goes to God Almighty! Amen!!
Very nice blog! Only when we have a godly fear (reverence) for who God is, will we understand and appreciate His love for us. Jesus said... "Greater love has no one than this: that he lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13)." This what Jesus did for us on the cross, when saved us from God's wrath, so that guilty sinners can be declared righteous, on the basis of faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.
God bless!
I realize that you must be a busy person..as we all.
You still haven´t answered my questions though and I - as well as others on this blog - are waiting for your answers with YOUR original thought.
Fleur, what nonsense are you spouting? Anything I want I can get for myself, dont need an imaginery character to do it.
If it so Glatlol, get for yourself modesty and respect to people and their opinions or beliefs. You are just annoying with your comments.
