persecution of Christians
I have just read one of my sister in Christ blogs and was so saddened by the attacks of some of the unbelievers on her blog. My brothers and sisters all I want to say is be strong in the Lord your God "for greater is He that is within you than he that is in the world.Remember God will never leave you nor forsake you..be strong in the Lord...remember that God has given us a commission and that is to spread the Gospel..its not an easy job because of the opposition but with God all things is possible...Remember its not you they persecute but Jesus Christ..Great is your reward n heaven.God bless you as you keep spreading the word of God

Isn't that what the Lord Jesus Christ said would happen? I rejoice in my relationship with the Lord. And I pray for the unbelievers. There is absolutely nothing else you can do.

Christians hid from persecution, as soon they had the power the Christians persecuted non believers of their faith.
And here you are whinging, do you ever read about the actual historic events?

Now you don't have to come on these sites Mr. Willing if you don't have faith in Christianity, but somehow all you people who put the boot in and quote things we already know, cannot resist knocking Christianity. This is very interesting. But it is now getting abit boring. Yeah, that is why Christians got eaten in the Roman coliseum because thy were hiding from persecution! You along with the rest of the anti Christians need to check your facts. I am a student of ancient history as well as the bible!
I think there is a lot of intolerance out there...including the example you posted...what we believe in or not is a very personal subject, there is no right way or wrong way...some forget that fact...
Sometimes I can not accept the fact of there is no right or wrong, and that it is what it is. I don't know if it was the way I was brought up, of that I go with the gut feeling of what is wrong or right, I always have.
I believe, that you shouldn't call yourself a Christian, if you fight against different religions, different races of people, different ways of living and so on. If we as humans are to move forward in life, we can not be intolerant to such matters that we know has caused wars and deaths of millions. We need to open our minds and learn that life is important, and life is about learning and accepting what is.
If you are a history buff, explain where the Easter tradition started and what meaning the rabbits have.
I fail to see what so upsetting about quoting history. The truth will set you free.
