Lindsyjones ~ I agree with you that Musk should have started a Media forum or whatever they're called from the start with something different from the bland narcissism of excessive selfies and Fakebook lives that are all joy and kisses.
He has the brains. My feeling is he will not buy. Too much money that could be used elsewhere, JMO

I heard and saw this too on a respected T.V. channel. It showed his daughter saying exactly what has been said by two other bloggers so i won't bother to type it out again. She seemed embarrassed and it must have been difficult for her. It seems so hard to get the truth here as any Blog about Trump Biden ends up with people becoming rattled or defending him like he is a demi god.

I just know I have followed Trumps life and his reality show on TV and also Biden's life. I agree with blogger who said they are not good negotiators. In other words for me that means narcissistic and egotistical. I don't have a deep dislike for one or the other, with so much fake news going around.

I do think Trump could not accept he lost the Election. I do remember the horrific attack on Capital hill that ensued and it was scary to watch even from my own livingroom.

Gonelikethewind ~ Yes the poorest are always the worst affected.
As somebody who is not American, I have watched with interest the Vitriol on both sides and it hadn't made
U.S. a happier country. I also agree Trump did act like a spoilt child . Having said that his upbringing was pretty dreadful with a narcissistic father and he was given all the wrong messages and sees success in a material, greed centred way . I think it is sad to be honest.

Merlot ~ Surely somebody like Elon Musk would have done his homework, or should i say had people go in to all the data regarding Twitter.
I would not think Twtter will be that important in a year or two. I see the newer sites coming down the line as being user friendy and I think he has had second thought. It is a lot of money, even for Elon.

Surprising amout of people I would not have thought at their age are going in to Tic Tok.

Raphael ~ I would have thought that Facebook has more fake accounts. It is not quite as simple to set up an account in Twitter and I found it annoying in that they blast you with imput that you don't really want.
I have an account but it is not a site I would have a great deal of confidence in as Facebook and of course Tik Toc for younger people and Instagram have largerly taken over.
Elon Musk owes Twitter nothing, I could be wrong but it was a verbal gentlemans agreement. It is a large amount of money to lay out on a social media platform. JMO

CS MODS ~ Can you please tell me why the letters RIP were taken away from directly after my mother and father. This is disrespectful to me. In my country and others too, we put RIP [rest in peace ] when we discuss somebody who is now dead, in this case it is emotional as my parents did not rear me but are still my parents. I would like to know why you find the need to delete ?

your Blogs bring a ray of light in to this blog site. That's for sure. You are a very open and gentle soul and that is not patronising , it's meat as a compliment.

Johnny Sparton ~ I did not mean to upset you but I have never believed ignorance is bliss.
Excessive Smartphone use and what I am now on Laptop emits rays, now you would have to be on the thing all day, which many are. I shove this under the sofa when the sun is out and try and forget it. I even turn my phone off when I dont want calls if out walking or cycling.

You seem healthy so have a check up every 6 months and eat good clean food.

galrads ~ I have some friends who hae lived in Holland for many years [one born there ] it is not signed yet and it is not the anwer.
Growing CLOVER for Cattle stops the emissions and is a simple and safe way to stop greenhouse gases from Cattle. People will always eat meat. They will not be dependent on the unsuitable diet that they were getting and will be 'grass fed ' again like nature intended, the only thing is, Clover will be grown and other things that will make the meat tastier and the Catltle happier grazing out in nature.

I have a few writing to me on a regular basis, they all have photos.
The others come and go and I noticed recently very few men have photos [as you rightly said ]
I also have been receiving profiles with cute pics of fluffy dogs and Spaniels. I put up my pet Cat once and I was told I had to take it down.
So ~ Could there be a law for men and a law from women ?
Thanks for bringing that up.
I always think that a faceless man writing to a woman who has put up her photo is not being fair.
It is not an equal playing field.

When you see a lovely young pup or loveable fluffly dog it is a con, and not an honest way of contributing
one said to me the other day he would like to take me to bed.
I just blocked, Still he is probably still telling half the site he wants to do same with them.

Which begs another question Didi7. If I did ask a man to bed, and he reported me , would I bel kicked off
the site. Men definitely are not.

Didi7 Young children and babies always give me great joy, as you saty the total innocence and they have no guile, trusting and being 100% open, it is beautiful.
I have noticed some women's groups here where say 6 or so go to a class and they are mostly 80 plus, some are overweight, most have their hair grey now and they are so joyful and their faces open and happy with no malice, laughing and joking. They are beautiful, that beauty that lasts forever that Peter speaks about in the Gospel.
I think those who embrace their age and have a sense of wonder at life, who are simple and keep life uncomplicated seem to have an inner beauty shining out, you don't notice the wrinkles or the walking stick, it is a pity there is so much ageism in my country towards elderly. Beautiful blog .

I have to be honest and say that I don't agree with people who put up lots and lots of utube available to us all on laptop or pc or smartphone [whatever you watch or use ] and Blogging should be writing our own ideas or answering anothers blog.
I don't think that this is blogging , it is putting up utube messages, it is a bad replacement for blogs.

Having said that, your subject matter is very interesting but I am not going to sit here for God knows how long and listen to various utubes on Speaking English well.

I am very aware with the intenet and texting how bad English has become and how Americanised English has take over, words like Awesome, cool how are you ? I'm good thanks That is the norm here in Ireland and it is just dreadful , TV presenters are now using American English.

Thats fine, Americans can speak English any way t hey like but it is not grammatically correct and in many ways it is a different language.
How are you ? Well thanks, is now How are you ? I'm good. I absolutely hate the fact it has taken over and when you listen to a good programme where the English is perfection itself it is a joy, ditto a well written book.

Lukeon ~ you eat all the kiddies meals you want. we all have a toddler in us that wants to get out. For instance, you probably never heard of them but Farleys Rusks are biscuits with vitamins and they are primarily for babies and toddlers to do their teething on.
Well, I love them, I used to buy packets in the store for my 'baby sister ' which I did not have and eat the packet. Gorgeous !!! ditto those baby pots of Yoghurts. I stopped short of the comfort blanket but I do have a cat that loves to snuggle. SAd ?

Loulou ~ sorry the obvious thing I left out is RIP to the member who is no longer here . Thanks for letting us know too. I have lost 2 of my best friends [both 70] to Dementia/Alzeimers, both very intelligent, goodlooking, had everything going for them. It seems to be on the increase.

Merlot ~ Easons even are stocking some good books From Russia with Blood etc., now and they are selling well. I went back to get another paperback I just can't remember title but I had a speed read and it seemed well written and factual. When I went back they were sold out.
