Yes, I would urge you to talk with someone in social services or a woman doctor. You've held this in for a long time. It's good that you brought it up, now.
If you haven't done any journaling you might want to give that a try. Start putting your feelings down on paper or the computer notes.

If this helps, Often times I'll ask myself: 'What if...' (they don't do this or don't do that)
Then I will plan out something to do in case it doesn't work out, such as going out to eat somewhere nice or making some other kind of plans that are pleasant.
To keep expectations down. It's easier on my nerves. Lessons the stress.
