Awww, I am so sorry to hear that. You say that you could've been sleeping on the couch in the back, well I think that's a blessing in disguise. Because it could've gone worst if you would've been there. They could've have hurt you or even worst. Things can get replaced. A life isn't. I'm glad you wasn't there.
