I got robbed.

So today started off pretty good. I was working my part time job as usual. My business partner called and left me a message. I got it on my lunch break. Someone broke into our store and took all the money. Since we just moved all of our security features were not back up yet. I don't know how much money they took. I don't know how much stuff they took. kinda stressing a bit right now. Talked to the police. posted on facebook and offered a reward. I think people assume since we are a business we must have a ton of money. Since the move and starting over we are basically a new start up. I think we had like $1,200 when we started this. I was not prepared to take this massive hit. I could really use a distraction right now. Its hard not to be angry. Its tough to focus. I have to stay open though to recover the loss. Ugh moping

Sorry to hear that. Sincerely hope everything turns out well sad flower
Mr Fixes,

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I hope they catch the people involved in thishandshake handshake
That's awful. Glad you're ok though...hug
Yeah. i am fine. It was my weekend off or i may have been sleeping on a couch in the back. Boy that person would have got a surprise
that is one of the few things that really sets me off is a thief .
if we still cut off thieving hands it wouldnt happen so much .

except for stealing food that doesn't bother me much .

at any rate about the only thing you can do now is concentrate on how to make it up . in that i wish you the best of luck .

i always thought that businesses had insurance for that tho .?.?.?.?
correct you are businesses do have insurance for that but like any other insurance it has deductibles. Commercial insurance deductibles are higher than home insurance. so until i reach the deductible i just have to eat it :/
I know this is a setback and very discouraging, but learn everything you can from it. You could very well save yourself additional or worse losses in the future. One day you may even look back on the experience and realize that it was a good thing it happened because of what you learned from it.

By the way, check with your insurance agent. Even if you think its a waste of a call. Commercial policies aren't as cut and dry as personal insurance. You might have a lower deductable that applies to theft. Unless you already know where you stand?
Oh yeah, don't forget as a loss this would be an expense and therefore tax deductable, right?
Awww, I am so sorry to hear that. You say that you could've been sleeping on the couch in the back, well I think that's a blessing in disguise. Because it could've gone worst if you would've been there. They could've have hurt you or even worst. Things can get replaced. A life isn't. I'm glad you wasn't there. Best of luck recovering from this hard hit.
Possible someone knew there was not going to be anyone there and the security features weren't on yet? Maybe that possibility should be considered. Anyone new on the staff or such?

don't be sad. we won't be taking our money with us after our death. celebrate the fact that they didn't kill you. THE GLASS IS HALF-FULL.
I agree with the guy that says we should cut their hands.
