I love travelling; I've walked from coast to coast across the North of England, travelled to Mexico twice, (which was fabulous), worked in France, holidays in Spain & Holland, so where next? I'm selling my home & I want to go work in Prague for a while & from there, explore as far as I can! I'll do it alone if necessary, but I'd prefer to find a free spirited Women to travel with me.
Thank you fellow Humans, & Cailin, that's a lovely philosophy :-) It isn't the first time I've been through this unfortunately, but I once heard a very wise statement, "The more people we have in our lives, the more joy & happiness we experience, conversely, the more pain & suffering we witness too". I have a lot of friends offline, & we'll always support each other, so I know that as the shock & grief passes away, there are lots of good times to come, but I certainly appreciate the kind words here too. You're all lovely people, thank you.

The peculiar thing about being a performer is expectations, people have very distinct expectations of me, in a sense, yes, I do socialise easily, but for me that's part of the job, back at home on my own, I'm really quite a laid back, quiet person, I used to be quite shy & self concious & I got into music as a way of dealing with it, I'd never of guessed it would become a potential career! Consequently I'm not really interested in meeting a partner that way, besides, 'pub' dates aren't my thing, I'd rather take a walk on a beach & eat chips & ice-cream, (that's fries in American I think)?, not together obviously! Ha
There are few absolutes, but as a process of expanding my 'pool' of people to meet & know, this seems to be a good place, or canny; as we Mackems say.
I was at a very dear friends funeral yesterday, a sad day, (they can't always be happy after all can they? No matter how hard we try), so it was very pleasant to see genuine peoples responses on here today, thanks again folks.
