Putin's power cannot be trusted ! The risk is far to great as something like this is bound to happen to the embarrassment of our governments and the grief to the families of those murdered. Personally I don't know why we let him in he's a thorn in the backside and shouldn't be allowed any where near us as its a disaster in the making if we do. I ask and wonder was the people of that airliner aware of the dangers of getting on that plane did they know they were to be flying over a war zone where its possible they could be targeted and shot down. Putin has a big fan base in my opinion he's going nowhere even if its detrimental to the Russian people they will still back him. As far as him giving a flying hoot back I don't think communist countries do care for the people this way. He'll get away with it and in a few years time we will be opening up our doors again letting him back in. As for the families of that plane I think they deserve a massive apology for letting it happen (as it was avoidable) and an even larger amount in compensation which in terms of balancing this grave error out would still only be very little to the grief that's been caused.
Sorry to hear your good nature lead you to hear what he had to say but good also to hear you rose to the occasion and slammed the door in his face I hope it hit him where it hurts. p.s profiles pics can be misleading...
