I think you have to learn to be happy yourself first. Its a choice a concious decision. You need to learn to love yourself before you can love anyone else. You may not be able to change all the things you feel are necessary to change at once. Start gradually even by just smiling tomorrow and deciding not to get down beet. Even if things dont seem to change quickly the idea that you are making an effort you will find is an uplifting experience. So dry your tears after all tomorrow is another day!
I often think children have a great way of looking at life which most of us have lost by the time we reach adolescence. We loose ourselves somewhere inbetween. It take time to observe that this has happened and to make necessary changes to enrich our lives once again.
As usual your insight into particular aspects of relationships is amasing. As for me i have been considered by many to be a deep person. But as such i have a very indept understanding of myself and of my feelings. Sometimes people try in a round about way to discover reasons for such characteristics. This i feel is a very bad approach. For me a more direct approach from someone i care about is most important. Straight Talk. Since i know myself very well i already have the answers such a person might require which i feel would give them a greater understanding and acceptance in return for a more open and genuine me. Im not saying this will work in all circumstances or for particular individuals some people are as you say lonely souls.
