RE: Gosh, It just disappeared???

Post, here's one for you... an old wise college political science professor told our class many moons ago... the reason why people don't like discussing politics and religion is, because they know nothing about either one therefore, to keep from making a fool out of him/her, they stay clear.. rolling on the floor laughing... sounds about right, huh?laugh

Comments from Turn the other cheek blog...

Hi Loulou, LJ only made this clear upon me asking questions of her in my second comment. And if you would read my first comment in this blog, as well as her OP... unless of course, she has changed it... uh, you will find in reading what she says is not as stating it is from the author of an article, as I posted in my second comments seeking clarity. Please read my second comment in this blog and then read LJ's Turn the other cheek the comment to this, again, if they have not been deleted or changed.

Please don’t miss my point of this blog as I have so stated in my lead opening statement of this blog: There were only three comments that were made on this blog, the second and last comments were deleted by blogger. For those who do not know what I said in those comments, you can read for yourself. I had not planned on doing this, because this is but the blogger continues to make claims toward me on her blog AFTER deleting my comments. Praise God I saved my comments on her blog because I knew sooner or later she would delete them which would able her to make claims of things she perceived to be in my statements. I only have two of my posted comments, but the third comment was to in response to another blog, hopefully I will be able to find it.

The same right that LJ feels she has to continue to post her comments referencing me to others in her blog AFTER THE FACT, and exercised her right to delete my comments so no one would know what I had said, yet leaving her comments AS IF I had spoken derogatory words with malice against her... I too, can exercise my right to post my comments in this blog that I made in her blog for all to read as to what I DID say on “Turn the other cheek”. What more can I say, and what part of what am I speaking that is not understood?

Hope you and others are not of the mindset that she has the right to continue to voice her thoughts and opinions against me to others on her blog, and think I am to keep silent without recourse. I feel "what’s good for the goose is good for the gander"… and I will turn the other cheek when SHE refrain from, and SHE no longer feels a need to be riled by discussing me in her blog with other members.

Also please know, discussing topics of this nature is not my "first rodeo ride", I have experienced discussions on topics of greater substance and measure on a much higher level than her blog, and I have much understanding of what she presented in her blog. I’m not stupid, nor am I a fool, or ignorant in knowing... But I suppose you can say, I do have a problem with people who tend to covertly twist and turn information to suit their own.

And since you seem to understand better than I, maybe you can explain why she feels riled?... all AFTER I thought things were over after I posted my third comment and moved on... I have not said one word about her in this blog, except in response to you and those who have posted on this blog.

... and what do you mean by this?... "it would be best to refrain from judging her and take it easy." Sorry, but you may think "it best to refrain from judging her"... but, I don't know if you understand the meaning of judging a person, I have not "JUDGED HER" as should be, that's God WORK to JUDGE HER rightly so... but I do, and will judge her conversation and behavior as God has given the Christian believers the right to do so, since believers will be apart of judging the angels... what I have done is exposed and confronted her conversation and behavior, and I think it was best I did so, and there is a difference between judging and confronting. I ain't mad at her or anyone else, but I will take a stand, and when I've done all I can do to stand,I will continue to stand when it comes to principles.

Thank you for your comment, and I do respect you for voicing your opinion in this matter teddybear purple heart

Calliope, thank you for your comment... yes, so very true, and I receive what you speak... but there comes a time and season for all thing under the sun when a matter of facts must be declared... not as a matter of defense... but as a matter of standing on principles. teddybear purple heart

RE: God is great....

Yes, Teen sweetheart, GOD IS GREAT!... HE'S MORE THAN GREAT, HE IS AWESOME! and He will bring deliverance to all who go in search of Him.

By faith, Ask of Him, and it shall be given to you; seek Him, and you shall find Him; knock (pray, and read His Word), and the door of knowledge of Him will be opened to you, and HIS strength will become the joy of your life!

You have not, because you have not sought the Lord where and while He might be found. May it be unto you according to the faith that works in YOU!teddybear bouquet

RE: Was Jesus Rich?

Docetism? I dont think you can find a Christian on earth who does not know and believe in THE deity of Jesus, and that Jesus died on THE cross as a human man, and rose from THE grave in His divine spirit form..if you can find such a one who believes otherwise they are not a true Christian and believe a lie of the devil and are of a cult.

Docetism is unbelief in the deity of Christ

Jeff, May God's blessings be upon you in all things and grant you much favor in your business venture.angel2

RE: Was Jesus Rich?

Yes Calmheart you're correct, they all started out preaching and teaching good sermons and the true word about salvation until they started growing. I remember when Joel's father died, I use to follow his dad, and when Joel took over the ministry being young and new in the Word, and he was preaching a different message than what he is doing now, but then as he started to get big and sought to get the young adults in his age group, as I said, the lights, camera, and action of television took control of his ministry and he lost his focus, and started preaching a different gospel to get the yippy group. Same with Creflo Dollar who is only 50 yrs. old, he seeks after those in his age group who think prosperity is a blessing from God, which it is, but they also think that salvation comes last as long as you believe in Jesus Christ, and pay your tithes for the blessings from God... all backward.

Although Joel's ministry has grown larger than his father's ministry ever was... it is as God says, the trap of money caught their eyes... I like Joel, but he should not concern himself with how large his audiences are, but with the salvation of those he does reach. He does sometimes still have good inspirational messages but he teaches prosperity as a means of getting to God because that's what people would rather hear so they can boast about how good God is to them, instead of how it is that God saved their souls from hell. Joel's ministry does awesome work in Houston and the surrounding areas for the poor and needy, so that can't be taken from him, and all his financial records are in order with the nonprofit IRS, so he is accountable in such as this, but his gospel message of salvation needs work. laugh

RE: Was Jesus Rich?

And Jesus says this: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’Matthew 7:21-23

Notice here, Jesus doesn't say I ONCE KNEW YOU, but He says, I NEVER KNEW YOU, which means from the beginning of their call in ministry, they had wrong motives, and their only goal was not to preach or teach the Gospel of Salvation, but for selfish-ambitions and money. I say, they preach and teach Jesus as a part-time lover and money is their full-time wife laugh

RE: Was Jesus Rich?

Ken, can you read Greek? Why are you posting the Greek when you can't read it? If you could read Greek then you would know it all says the same thing... you need to come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior so that your understanding might be open to know the Word of God. Because as it stands you don't have a clue...

We Christians know what it means to be a Nazarene, meaning from Nazareth as so God says Jesus shall be known as... you don't belief in God or His Word, so why are you trying to convince me or any Christian as to what we should believe or not read...your words as an unbeliever(sinner) are void and empty and powerless to Christian believers... This blog is not about what unbelievers think or believe, the topic of this blog is as posted... Was Jesus Rich?... and Christian believers have made their comments, and God has spoken so let the church say Amen! So what's your problem??...keeep it movin'moping

RE: It’s What You Choose to Believe - Final

All the Good Samaritan is telling the innkeeper is that, whatever amount is needed to care for the man over and above the 2 denarii, when he (the good Samaritian) returns passing back through, he (the good Samaritan) will repay the innekeeper for taking care of the man.

RE: Was Jesus Rich?

annnd, another thing Ken, if God says in His Word that there was a town in Galilee named Nazareth, then it is as GOD so said. I would think God knew and even so now knows more than you or you can pull up from google or ever fathom. Jesus was called a Nazarene because it was His hometown and that of his parents Mary and Joseph.

Shacking-Up!...

aaaawwww, once again, ignorance speaks into matters it knows not...funny, how you and Ken know so much about me and my personal business more than I do. WOW! Since you guys know so much about me, my marriage, and divorce than I do, maybe I should come to you guys for answers and to learn information about myself, my marriage, and divorce that obviously I have missed.. I really would love to hear more rolling on the floor laughing

But seriously, Rizlared, you do well to have your eyes tested for eyeware and then check with your local grade school to sign up for third grade reading classes... you will be surprise how better off you will be in reading blogs.

The ability to READ is important and good for effective communication and learning.typing uh oh moping

Thank you for your comment confused dunno

RE: Do people who disrespect other peoples religion as

COWARDICE IS NOT A VIRTUE!!!

RE: Justified? Or not?

The questions you ask regarding the senseless killings of these people if it was Justified? Or not... to me, still suggest there is a feeling of justification. But there is one thing I do know COWARDICE IS NOT A VIRTUE!

Shacking-Up!...

Serendi, you've nailed it to the wall!!! THANK YOU! And what's so good about the truth of it all, not one person will have an excuse for not knowing the truth of God's Word... As Apostle Paul says, O man and O woman you are without excuse and will be judged accordingly.thumbs up yay heart wings

RE: Do people who disrespect other peoples religion as

Bern, people right here on CS very openly disrespect Christians when we blog, they mock us, mock and blaspheme God's name and His Word. QUESTION: does that justify or give me or other Christians a right to kill them? And what lessons should those on CS learn and refrain from inflammatory remarks against Christians on CS based on what happened in Paris and happens everyday in Muslim countries to those Christians who refused to denounce the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and are beheaded?

I would like to hear substance and not just opinions in this matter. thanks

Shacking-Up!...

ken, as I stated my comment says not one thing about these women being my girlfriends... I was talking about my ex-husband who shacked up with these women, wasn't that they all were poor as you ASSUME, into all of them lived with family or friends, but it was the transition... you have no argument because you know not details nor are you able to understand the revealed points... ... you still miss the point of the comment... so what's really your problem?

Matthew 6:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking

And what on earth does this passage to do with anything? Why do you non-Christian always try to quote and use Scripture in your defense against Christians? Don't you know and havne't you heard God's word doesn't work against His children, The Word of God is the Christian believer's defense weapon, not the nonbelievers. God's Word works in our favor, and points out the nonbelievers sins and fault, as now once again ignorance speaks into something it know not, what about Matthew 6:7 what does it mean in relation to this blog topic?...

Shacking-Up!...

BTW, Ken you speak about RELIGION... I'M NOT INTO RELIGION, I IN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST... sorry, but again ignorance speaks into matters it knows nothing about...

Shacking-Up!...

Loulou, yeah you make a good point... I was divorced years before I became a born again Christian, but I would be interested in knowing the stats on the divorce rated of married couples compared to couples cohabiting. Divorce is painful for all involved whether married or cohabiting couples... any time there is a loss, there is pain especially if the relationship was one of length ... Not every woman can says she did not experience low self-esteem... you had choices, and was not without a means to care for yourself, most women find themselves without such, but as we agree people make their own choices.

Thanks Loulou for your commentsteddybear

Pedal, wave... I know right?... I never know when 123Butterfly is fooling around or serious, she is too much, and funny..even if she was homeless and living in a car with three children, she would still find a way to make laughter of her situation... and that's so great.

Thank you for sharing...heart wings cheering

Shacking-Up!...

Yes Angel-face, you made the right choices... shacking-up doesn't give you any right or privileges when it comes to death or illness or taking care of a man's or woman's busy when you shack with them especially, if there are grown children involved, because you ARE NOT THE NEXT OF KIND... and unless it is documented that you have been assigned right to take control of such you're out the window when the grown children take over... Good for you...cheering applause banana

As this one old female preacher once preached "Get Your Own Stuff", no one can take what belongs to you, be your own-self's boss unless you are married, then you become your own boss as well as his boss, and his stuff belongs to you, and your stuff belongs to you rolling on the floor laughing j/k uh oh moping
