Yep...I agree,don't pay for these sites.They are basically the same thing and promise a new future with some one really special.I see this as digging for gold or playing the lottery.If you try,you MIGHT get there.If you don't...good luck other places.Long shot for sure.
I was on the biggest site there is for two months.Nothing happened.In fact,one woman from my town here was saying she needs a man that makes at least $150,000.00 a year.From the picture she posted,get real.I thought this was the most narcissim I've ever ran into.The nerve I thought.
About the bars....it's true,I have walked away lucky way more than one time but now I quit drinking and can't bring myself to this venue too much.But you are right...at least it's real.Even if it lasts a very short time.I have met a few that are nice to talk to for awhile but disappear for one reason or another and you just can't figure it out.I've been around for 50 years now and still can't figure them out.Don't try.It does'nt hurt to have a hope alive but I would say live your life as full as you can till you find her.Go fishing,go hunting,play golf,softball,play guitar.
I do have one friend who has met someone he met and it's worked out for 3 years now.Another friend met with someone once and he said it was the most awkward date he ever had.Good luck to all.
