Ah I see lol.

No, I don't think its fair to expect all our needs to be met by one person.
Although there is a line between needs or wants lol.

I personally think that we all should have something that is ours, exclusively.
Something we do, or participate in that is outside the relationship whether that be alone time, meditation or sports or whatever. We all have 'other' relationships whether that be family or friends and we all need stimulation imo. Very difficult to get from one person. The most successful relationships I have seen is where the couple are not together 24/7.

Wow, you're blog really touched a chord with me, particularly the second last sentence, but thats a different conversation

As regards relationships, I too need space, a lot of it, but any relationship needs compromise. I guess when one is comprimising too much of oneself, then it can become a negative and draining experience.
