if you can come in June (the lotus season) and especially on 12th (my birthday) we can enjoy some parties by the lotus lakes and more ... 
thus, we don't eat the raw mature seeds, we eat when the young ones's middle part is not green yet (still white) so it add fresh sweet flavor to the seed. 
Lotus is really amazing yay summer is coming and so is another lotus season. Come soon sis
our foods are quite healthy, very little oil so we can eat much without worrying too much lol
