If they can't win them by coming up with better ideas, they are perfectly happy to win them with fake news and false propaganda promulgated by enemies and competitors of the United States and to ally with those enemies to create a stronger political force.
Once they get into office they will of course FAIL TO DELIVER their promises because those promises are UNdeliverable. But they are perfectly happy to create the false hope to those who are stupid enough to believe it it if that is what they have to do to advance their political power.
Take a look at China. You think the leadership of that country is looking out for the welfare of the Chinese people? How about Iran? How about North Korea? How about Cuba?
They don't care about the economy of the people. They only care about their own wealth and political power. And that is the case today with the Democrats. They sell their ambitions of power under the guise of charity and a clean environment. In fact their intentions are nothing of the sort.
You can't equate all ideas. One idea isn't just as good as another just because they are both ideas. Some ideas have merit and others don't. To say that all politicians use issues to get votes, does not allow for the fact that some of their ideas have merit and others don't.
Stopping illegal and abusive immigration by building barriers where they are proven to work and changing immigration laws to make them more consistent with American values has merit. Stopping the destruction of the environment by a government takeover of the economy and means of production doesn't have merit. So you are trying to equate apples and oranges.
Also, you are under a misconception that President Trump doesn't ALSO want clean air and water. In fact he has explained clearly and explicitly that he most definitely does. But of course what you hear -- especially in Europe -- is FAKE NEWS that distorts everything President Trump says and does because radical socialists in the news media want to discredit and marginalize him. Don't believe everything you hear about President Trump, 90% of it is a fairy-tale created by his political enemies.
