And I have no wish to fall out with you, deedee, or anyone else for that matter. None of my friends are angels, dee, and Molly has never done anything wrong to me.
I've cleaned all four of my upstairs windows today, inside and out. I've washed away three years worth of grime in the space of 30 minutes and given myself the gift of daylight.
Also got rid of the severe coffee stains in my sink with a scouring pad. Now the light from the windows reflecting off it is dazzling.
Yes, gg, I know there are people who believe that -let's be kind and simply call it- nonsense. A surprising number seem to believe the apocalypse is imminent, but not so many that lizard people form the elite of this World. I think it's the more mundane things that pose the biggest threats. The stuff that affects people's daily lives, which are more to do with how we look at those who are not mainstream, or don't conform to tradition. Things that encourage conflict rather than reconciliation.
Some people believe what they see and hear on crackpot websites and then try to propagate it in places like this. It might not influence you or me, but if just one person is taken in by it, that's one more looney in the World when we should be trying to reduce their number.
The only time I have a problem with God, itchy, is when the above mentioned say he is going to toast me if I don't come round to their way of thinking. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that is your idea of God, either.
RE: The Prodigal Son
Sometimes there's a choice between "hiding in the shadows" and looking bad, or saying something and looking bad. A third option would have been nice.
