I do understand democracy and I am merely pointing out the faults in our version of it. I think you should go back and review your comments on Z's blog before you accuse anyone of being a complainer.
So you think the spirit of democracy is being served when slightly less than half the population is being dragged along in a direction it doesn't want to go? 52% is a technical majority, but to treat that outcome the same as you would a 99.9% majority is putting technicality before principle. And, surely, democracy is founded on principle.
Those who keep going on about carrying out "the will of the British people", obviously think that 48% of voters are no longer British people.
A quick look at your profile tells me you neither smoke nor drink. I suggest as a first step, you start doing both. Women like the smell of cigarettes and alcohol.
But surely you've either discovered it or you haven't. I think that by the time you have established it is a City, you are entitled to say it has been discovered.
I wonder what percentage of men on this site are looking for a woman to take over from their mother. Someone who will look after them like their Mummy used to.

I'm sure I have heard of an app or website where you can hum a tune and it will identify it for you. Can you remember how the tune goes?
