RE: Senate Democrats demand that William Barr resign, or face Impeachment

They can demand all they want. Impeaching a civil officer of the President is almost as hard as that of the President Himself. And how did that work out for the losers?
No point in worrying, the noise continues as expected. It gives a defeated party of panhandlers another story they can't sell. It's expected so let's just sit back and enjoy the show....rolling on the floor laughing tongue

The thing I most like about the new position is that it holds individuals subject to accountability. Not only pols, but the media as well. Sanctuary states are the prime generalized target, but information being withheld by the press, or in one recent case, information passed on by the press to fleeing illegals is also subject to prosecution. Ironically they will not be able to hide as well.

Unfortunately the Bill of Rights is written for citizens of the United States. It does not provide for illegal aliens, so that comment is a non sequitur for this blog.

Sorry, can't and won't happen. The House violated President Trumps due process rights. Dems open that can of worms and Pelosi looks like even more of an idiot then she already has proved herself to be. All of this of course is moot. Water under the bridge.

RE: Bill Maher Gets Destroyed By Steve Bannon Over The Election Process On His Own Show

I'd call it a draw which, since Maher had home field advantage, with his LFBTQRSTUV audience gives the nod to Bannon. Maher has a quick wit, his trade, and can turn a conversation with a joke. But Bannon had plenty of ammo whenever Maher changed topics. Maher did let him answer most of the time but Bannon was persistent and didn't let him skate too much. Couple of times the 'applaud' sign didn't work in the studio.....

In all honesty....Maher sees it coming and if he doesn't get on any side of President Trump there may be no HBO Maher show.

President Trump is playing 'wackamole'. Get rid of the osama leftovers from the state department. It will continue as the Secret Society Sensors reveal themselves and as the issues demand it. (cr.JKR)

Eventually, President Trump will get to the 'black mamba' himself. It's a lock!

SCOTU gave an unofficial ruling earlier in the year citing the same nonsense as did one of the federal lower courts. This makes two attempts to convict on a charge that has never seen the court system.
The SCOTU indicated they would note even call the issue to be heard.

RE: Fool On The Hill

When she got elected Speaker, it was the best thing that could have happened for Republicans. She was good at raising money, but clueless at raising a consensus. Her biggest mistake was giving in to the extreme left....that was the battle she needed to win for the sake of the party. Everything after abdicating that fight made it impossible to go up against President Trump. Her problem was she made it personal.....she hated him. Nothing made that more clear, then her SOTU performance. Btw,
....Hillary made the same mistake.

Lol....of course you don't...you're too busy reading your own words, too busy pontificating on a subject that is your means to what end....? Acceptance, relevance....?

Two thoughts for your contemplation son,

My favorite proverb which you should definitely consider:

....brevity is the soul of wit"

"the essence of a witty statement lies in its concise wording and delivery"

You failed on both counts...you don't write well, but neither do you write better by writing more.

Now as my way of a farewell send off....these words by Thomas McGuane....

"It's small sport shooting a wounded bird perched on the muzzle of a loaded shotgun".

In other words, you should listen more and read less.

RE: Do We Even Need A State Of The Union With The Most Successful President In History In Office?

Hmmmm....'riddled' with the truth? I'm pretty sure that would not be the right word to use within the context of what the OP intends to infer.

Definition of riddled:

"mystifying, misleading, or puzzling question posed as a problem to be solved or guessed : conundrum, enigma. 2 : something or someone difficult to understand. riddle."

As in....mislead with the truth.....is she saying the truth is difficult to understand....we can only guess as to its efficacy, or based on my many truths is it still an enigma?

Lol....'riddled' with the truth....might have to see that in context as it makes no sense on the surface. Lost in translation....dunno

I'd like to hear.....for once....what's the Democratic party stand for? What are they in favor of pursuing as far as policy? RE: What could you do with 240 billion $

The verdict is still out on Bezos. He and the President don't see eye to eye, but not so much on business, as in his ownership of WAPO. Pretty much goes down along the same lines as Facebook. When you have billions of people you can influence you have to keep them on a watch. FB steals privacy information and sells it routinely. As of yet we know Bezos isn't directly selling it, but he has the same info as Zuckerberg. I think FB will have to be deregulated.....and hopefully soon.
Bezos.....we'll see.

RE: USA hater Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar's ethics investigation....

Liberal dialogue is basically adjectives looking for a noun. Actually there never is a dialogue since I've not found one member, on that side, that can hold a discussion without labeling or substance. I still don't know who is who...ralph or red? They certainly haven't distinguished themselves with any significant insights on any topic. So I dismiss them as a matter of course.

RE: What could you do with 240 billion $

"If United States would quit messing about, would limit their defense budget to what other NATO countries use, I estimate you would have 240 billion $ - why not invest in your own people ?"

Well when those other NATO countries pay their (10%) commitment to defense of the NATO countries which they agreed to, we can talk then. cool
