Hi Dan, I've been here since around early July last year. I only discovered the forums after weeks of been here, mainly just getting some emails/flowers from a few men. Over time, I have made several friends, some closer than others. In fact, a few GF's are making plans to meet with me when I am in the EU, mainly Italy, in September this year. I have spoken with three such women both on skype and home 'phone. One also asked her man, also a CS'er to call me at home as she had raved about me to him and wanted him to know who I was. They are really adorable and straight down the line.
I had also been corresponding regularly with a man, and I know we were both kinda smitten with each other, but just kept it at that. When I was O/S, we met and in fact grew very close. Meet was way too short and nowhere enough to iron out some issues that developed. I really loved the city he lives in, it was such a lovely surprise, and he was such a wonderful host despite anything else. I had the key to his apartment and was totally trusted. He ahd gone so out of his way to even pick me up at the airport which meant an incredibly late night for him!
I have met several other people online years ago, but no from dating sites. I have stayed in their homes, again, was fully trusted. I could write a book on my experiences, so I shall stop here.
