For those dealing with PTSD, it's like their brains hit the replay button on the toughest moments. Traumatic events become etched in memory, making those negative recollections stand out vividly. The brain, wired for survival, goes into overdrive with fear and stress responses, creating a heightened awareness of potential threats. It's as if the mind is stuck on high alert, constantly trying to process and make sense of the intense experiences, which often amplifies the focus on those challenging memories.
have no idea bout that , but this is what I've read. Our brains have this unique way of leaning towards negative memories – it's like a survival instinct handed down from our ancestors. Picture it as our brain's old-school strategy to stay alert to potential dangers. So, it's wired to give extra attention to negative experiences, helping us learn and steer clear of threats.
"It's a positive stereotype, particularly in Batangas, where each province often carries its own distinct characteristics. In our region, people are known for their strong and, at times, assertive tone when speaking our native language. In contrast, regions like Cebu are often associated with a softer tone.
Weddings in Batangas are typically opulent affairs, with individuals willing to spend substantial amounts, even reaching into the millions, to ensure the satisfaction of those around them. The city is deeply rooted in tradition, and it's rare to find foreign investors as the local government strongly supports homegrown entrepreneurs.
Looking back, I recognize how my English was lacking in proficiency. Reflecting on past writings, I now realize the immaturity and childishness that characterized my language use. This realization has motivated me to continually improve my language skills.
Totally agree, they are also human . I rem Zang Ziyi allegdly she got paid millions to sleep with rich men.https://www.complex.com/pop-culture/a/julian-patterson/chinese-actress-zhang-ziyi-allegedly-earned-millions-by-sleeping-with-rich-businessmen
Though I would say she doesn't look like a typical Vietnamese; she looks more like East Asian. I also get the same comment that I do look East Asian. I used to think Koreans, Japanese, and Chinese look the same, but when I lived there, they are totally different people. Taiwanese and Chinese from Mainland China have their own distinction as well. Taiwanese have bigger and rounder eyes.
Move along play along, get on which ever, each to their own games or reasons when played...( I took it as an advice) I viewed her account we are polar opposite. She is way prettier than me.
We have different cultures, so I can't speak for all women here. A promiscuous female over here is considered a ____. I reckon our society deems it okay for a man to sleep around, but when it's a female, you must be the role model to your children, especially if you have a daughter. Do you mean a situationship? I don't think it's possible here. I remember a foreign guy, a friend of our friend, who hired a prostitute in Asia (not gonna say the name as I don't want to offend others here) and ended up marrying her, bringing the girl to Oz. I have limited exposure to Indian culture, and I don't want to say something I don't know, but I saw in a video about being careful who you sleep with because you are also binding your soul to them, not just your body.
RE: Any proud and hairy women out there
I don't see anything wrong with it; each to their own, and we all have our own preferences. No one should question yours.
