Two weeks isn't really that long on dating sites. Now if you were here for two years, then I'd start to wonder what's going on. Also, you shouldn't use this as your only means of meeting people otherwise you'll be disappointed.
Not at all, I think that's a great way to show interest, wish more women would do that to be honest. Of course, they don't need to most times as guys usually write to them more often than not.
