....if the girls makes contact first when she reads a profile she finds interesting and wishes to know more about him?

Not at all, I think that's a great way to show interest, wish more women would do that to be honest. Of course, they don't need to most times as guys usually write to them more often than not.

In my opinion if a woman finds my profile interesting and she messages me before I find her profile on the site I would see it as a sense of character.

If a woman can take initiative at times it is actually refreshing and original,can't put a price on either one of those qualities!
