GIVING THIS SITE ONE MORE WEEK THEN I DELETE MY PR

Had enough, too many cowboys.... men don't want to have any other means of contact apart from IM, which I disabled. How sad. I'll go to another site otherwise. If you would like to IM, just ask first: when it is convenient for both, we can chat. Simplecomfort

I just dont understand you,to IM is all part of the service to get to know people and their personalities,and also to pass on tel numbers and msn addresses.Maybe this is your way, making this Blog to draw attention towards you.In my opinion,if you are not happy here,well move on.... but dont be moaning if you're not having contactdunno confused

Kizzi ..i agree.........Its a good way to getting to know each other and i would think quite a safe way as well until both parties feel safe and comfortable enough to meet in person.dunno

Well, you got that wrong...... many of us want real life contact, and would happily talk with you in that vain, but then take alook at where you live and then where I live and see if a meet for a coffee and a chat is really realistic. ! doh

So how else are we supposed to communicate, or maybe just not at all

@Englishman...you talk alot about distance....well, seems you are not willing to give long distance a try, you put a barrier...confused how will you ever know?..maybe miss right is out there across the oceanlaugh ...jump the waters brother


@Onahotsummernite....well, some prefer to get to know you on Im before then after they are comfortbale with you.. chnaces are they maay take it further....don't give up..no other site will be different...comfort

Ebony...... Rubbish...... I have had an LDR and would do it again for the right person, but it's essentail to meet withing a short period of time. I would say within two months.

It's hard on both parties and needs alot of trust.

What I was saying to Onehotsummer is that there is not much other than e-mail and IM for people to use when the distance is so great.
IM actually happens to be a good way to communicate so much to each other in a short space of time.

A very interesting thread. I have been having a LDR with a lady for months now and have never yet even attempted to use IM. We have been Emailing back and forth and have gotten to know each other quite well I believe. Well enough that with a little luck with airlines we will meet in person in the near future. hug
