RE: ~~~~~~~~~~Water~~~~~~~~~~

I am not overlooking the water cycle or the "ideal" fuel status of hydrogen. The point is that minerals and life forms removed from the water initially before conversion to hydrogen are not returned via return route of the water cycle after use in the fuel cell.

On a small scale this may be acceptable.. but on a global and longterm scale it can certainly not be assured safe or in keeping with environmental equilibrium.

Having discussed with the researchers and engineers at leading companies responsible for various aspects of fuel cell development, they clearly have no understanding of the potential impact. If they did then they would supply firm answers - instead they just claim it is the ideal fuel.

It concerns me more that they have no quantitative assessment. Even if they had a bad quantitative assessment then at least you would know they had thoroughly considered the problem.

As usual, technology moves ahead until the problems develop and then we will have to develop countermeasures for the mess.

RE: Turns "on" and "off" on first date.

Not just for first date, but for any date or even just hanging out with friends, people who play with their mobile phone endlessly irritate me.

Also, people who talk AT you rather than talk WITH you. Leaves my mind feeling like it has been under verbal assault for an hour or so.

I don't want to be the center of attention, but I think for the first date people need to give EACH OTHER some focus and attention - learn about each other.

If one of us is not interested then that is fine..just the way it goes.. I'd sooner be honest about it and either:
1)simply enjoy each others company and the place, or
2)go home and chill out

I certainly dont want to watch some selfish self-involved cow witter on and call her friends. What would make me want to see such a person again?

Also, anyone who thinks that the guy should pay. Of course I probably will! But anyone who thinks this is the guys obligation .. well i doubt I would want to feel obliged twice!

Turn ons.. someone who put in a little bit of effort. Someone who makes you think a little different. Someone sincere, open and fun. Someone who did not come for a roadmap or preconceived concept of how things will go.
