RE: Do we really dare to live life fully?

Hi there, that is so well said.... If more people in the world were quite content to just be themselves, then the world would be a better place.

If we're always trying so hard to be someone else.... then who on earth is going to be us!!!!! We're all unique in one way or another and that what makes people so interesting, as you say like the flowers, trees, plants and animals... You don't see a fox trying to be a panda, or a lion trying to be an elephant!!!

RE: other people:

I agree that it is a good idea to ask as many questions as you need to know when you first meet someone.... nevertheless, I don't think a lot of your questions would necessary be relevant.

For instance, I have never compared myself to any animal before, and if I had to well then perhaps I would say "Bird".. as I like to be a free spirit.

If I were to describe myself, well I would only tell you the positive, so you still would'nt really know until you got to know me personally. None of us state the negative about ourselves.. we all like to see ourselves in a good light, which is just human nature.

I think the supernatural is believable.... not aliens and monsters.

Have no idea if animals plants and inanimate objects have their own opinion too.

They certainly wouldn't have an opinion of me.... I think animals are most loving and loyal, and don't go by opinions... they love and trust you unconditionally.

There is no such thing as normal.... everyone's perception of normal is different... nobody is perfect... so that is completely irrelevant... and well civilised, well we all know what that is... Perhaps to live in proper houses, to eat politely and with a knife and fork, and to behave in public.... In that case I am not always civilised.... I love camping in tents, eating outdoors with my hands at a barbecue cooked on the open fire... and could quite easily sleep on the beach, in fact I have done in SA many times.

So you see... the only things you have learnt about me after reading this.... is that I am a free spirit who loves the outdoors.

I do think you would need to much more than that!

Interesting topic though!!!

Have a good day!

RE: Characteristics that attract us to others

Everyone has different needs...
For me, a good outside appearance is fine, but if they're not interesting or good on the inside, there is simply no point and nothing at all to bind you to that person...

I would far rather spend time communicating with someone kind, caring and able to talk on different subjects and with a positive outlook to life. Appearance isn't always the most important attribute. Remember, we are not all blessed with a beautiful face or body, and that could be lost in a second, or deteriorate with age.... but a person who is genuine and loving on the inside, will always be that way!!!

I do believe though, everyone has a certain aura about them... and either you are attracted to that aura, or you are not. Different things for different people.

It would be interesting to hear other people's comments on this subject!!!

RE: Roller Coaster

You are right, we all choose our own Roller Coaster, and we've all been down at the lower level as well as up high...

Just think though, if we hadn't been down at the lowest level at some time or other, we would never appreciate how good it feels to be up on the highest level.!!!!!
