Yes, but a larger question is why so many people are on the internet to the exclusion of the world around them. And why they feel there is now either no alternative to looking for others except online, or are afraid to try to communicate with others directly.
Do you remember the world before the internet? How we used to meet or try to meet others? The world will never be as it was. The lonely now have a home filled with "friends", "contacts" and "lovers". It's astonishing when you consider the difference.
This is why they are here and will continue to come "here".
Nothing else has brought us closer together yet simultaneously moved us further apart. It's enigmatic.
Is the internet, the greatest communication tool in human history or something else?
It's all psychology cheslie ko. On the Net, we are all just "distant" friends until we actually meet, if ever we do. For me, until she would be in my arms, it's all just perfumed smoke, without any real substance other than what I give it.
It's CS that really controls this, and they only have the maximum "online over one month" indicator so no one will know that it may actually be a year or more since that member was active on this site.
The real question is why CS will maintain "extinct" members. And the simple answer is numbers. They can't control those who delete their memberships, but to maintain the big numbers in their membership base, they will maintain extinct members indefinitely. Wouldn't it be a simple matter to automatically delete memberships that have been unused for 6 months?
So whenever you encounter a profile that is over a "month" old, consider that it is probably much longer since that member was on the site.
Well, I'm certain that all here respect your decision to leave CS. And I'm sure you wouldn't have posted this if you weren't really leaving so.. So long Doberman, I guess we'll never see you again. Take care...Bon Voyage!
Karma--There's nothing remarkable or unusual about that. Some men and women never actually obtain a divorce and technically remain married but separated forever, either both in the same country or in distant countries. You can still have relationships and live common law until you decide to finally get legally divorced. This is of course easier if you remain in contact with each other, children notwithstanding. In your case, I suggest he doesn't want to divorce her for other reasons than he claimed. If you are involved with him and it bothers you that much then just move on, since it seems clear that he won't be getting divorced just to please you.
Well Jim, I'm sure your blogs are quite a legend here in Connecting Singles. As for MY personalities, I'm sure you keep up with current affairs here and share gossip with your CS friends about this and that.
As for the other famous "personalities" you mentioned, I'm not sure they would visit this site just to partake of your famous blogs. But, dare to dream.
Hopefully, you'll at least attract some dates if nothing else. Ideally not flies.
We wonder "Jim", do you consider yourself a professional blogger here on CS, or do you merely have too much time on your hands? To endeavor to be witty is a noble thing I suppose. Did you connect with any singles?.
You posted this because someone ASKED you for money? Is that all? I imagine he was asking many for money without care of who they were or where they lived.
RE: why are singles still on single sites
