Thought it might be a nice idea to contribute to CS by starting a new thread, maybe it has already been done? How about doing a few lines on a person who you regard as your personal hero,outside of family etc. like a singer or movie star or general all round good person who maybe inspires you. I'll make a start My hero is a guy maybe older members may know. He's Jon Anderson the lead singer with Yes and has recorded some absolute classics with Vangelis (Chariots of Fire). I have been a fan of this Group for years since I was 15 or so. Why Jon Anderson? (a) He has the most remarkable voice for a guy, almost an alto..but between the voice and his lyrics he continuously comes up with the most emotionally moving music I have ever heard. (b) His ethos and beliefs are off Eastern/Buddhist persuasion based on Life, re-incarnation, and the wonderful capacity we as humans have for love. (c) His relationship with his wife, Jeannie, is an inspiration. They are both in their 60's now but publically display their love and affection on and off stage. It so heartwarming to see them together as I was lucky enough to do in the Netherlands some years back Anyway thats my piece. How about your hero's heroines etc, Love & Light all
