Hiya Soph Indeed we do to some degree...some take it way too seriously and I'm not here for that because there's enough going on in real life. This site is simply an attempt to escape the nonsense but it's failing miserably. Yep, the beat goes on and on and on.
I'm not sure how my initial post of "“Getting a head start with the celebrations and a free dinner to top it off" comment directed towards Life got construed by jt and yourself but I don't want to deliberate with anyone about the election especially now that's it's over with. What's done is done and thankfully I live in Canada and had no influence in the US elections. It simply is not my election.
You know I have a crystal ball and I know these things right? just kidding. I know what ya mean about kind hearted folks and they're the only kind of people I'll associate with...we need more of them in the world B.
Thing is, I'm a Jill of all trades so I can fill orders, tell them they'll get a discount if they kiss my butt and everyone goes away with a smile on their face.
I hear ya B, it's a no win situation and it's turned into a huge fiasco that will go down in history. Let's hope everything works out for the best for everyone. Hang onto the kleenex though in case folks need them down there.
Yeppers, it's a real pain and I always forget to open up the emoticons window when responding to an email so end up trying to remember the words for them.
When Debbie starts kissing butt, then it is truly a serious matter.
Makes ya wonder how strong friendships really are in situations like this. Yep, even in the forums there's a sense of division over the silly elections. My gut is telling me that this kinda thing will continue well after the elections but I've got lots of kleenex tissues handy.
Dear Wonderwoman I realise you must be very busy tweaking the new site format but can you please get the emoticons back for email soon. kissing butt here so....
Apparently, “Searches for ‘how can I move to Canada’ on Google have spiked +350% in the past four hours,” Simon Rogers, data editor for Google, wrote on Twitter after Super Tuesday.
As far as the email problem, I have found they won't open unless you click on the subject line which appears in bold lettering in the email....give it a try and see how it goes.
