Same thing with me regarding spiders because when I was little, I used to pluck daddy long legs spiders out of hiding and play with them and somewhere along the line I developed a morbid fear of spiders. Be darned if I can remember when this happened. 
He's probably still in protective mode and cautious after the bee sting but there's always a possibility that it could become a phobia. 
I will never again be able to listen to it without singing the words "how deep is your rug" 
Are you blessing your a/c or are you just thankful for it? It has been one very hot, humid summer hasn't it? 
It frustrates me more than anything to see all this bogus crap so I couldn't help myself. 
Maybe permanent marker will work.
