RE: The Aussie election

i listened to Donald Trump ranting today, seems to me he is saying he gunner get rid of the republican parties (ronald regans) new world order of 1984.
Gold is good for nothing, price of goods and services are to be set by supply and demand (Cheating-Keating kicks off Australian compliance)

Former President George Bush, who spent eight years as Ronald Reagan's vice president, remembered his friend Saturday as a kind, decent man whose beliefs did not waver. "I think history will give him great credit for standing for a few principles, and standing firmly for those principles, and thus setting an example for the American people, whether they agreed with him or not," Bush said, standing alongside his wife, Barbara, outside their summer home at Walkers Point...

April 24, 1917 - The First Liberty Loan Act authorized the issue of $5 billion worth of bonds at 3.5 percent interest three weeks after the United States declared war on Germany.

April 9, 1924 - The Dawes Plan was transmitted to the Reparation Commission. It was accepted by Germany on April 16, 1924. While it was a short term success, the Dawes Plan proved to be a monumental failure because the annual payments required were too large and it required the United States to give massive loans to Germany to pay reparations. The countries receiving this money then used it to repay war loans to the United States. This cycle meant that the stock market crash of 1929 caused Germany to no longer be able to pay reparations and prevented the Allies from repaying debt owed to the United States.

April 5, 1933 - President Franklin Roosevelt issued an order making it illegal to hoard gold coin, gold bullion or gold certificates. Violation of this order was punishable by a $10,000 fine or 10 years in prison, making it a felony to own gold. Eventually, gold coins from 1933 and earlier were exempted from this rule so coin collectors could avoid prosecution.

January 17, 1934 - It became illegal for private citizens to own gold certificates following the implementation of the Gold Reserve Act of 1934.

January 30, 1934 - The Gold Reserve Act withdrew gold coins from circulation, provided for the devaluation of the dollar's gold content, and created the Exchange Stabilization Fund.

August 23, 1935 - The Banking Act of 1935 removed the Secretary of the Treasury and the Comptroller of the Currency from the Federal Reserve Board.

August 31, 1935 - President Roosevelt signed the Neutrality Act, which was meant to prevent the United States government from entering into activities that could lead the country into a foreign war.

January 13, 1937 - The first deposit of gold bullion was shipped to the United States Bullion Depository at Fort Knox.

July 1, 1944 - Delegates from all 45 Allied nations gathered at the United States Monetary and Fiscal Conference, better known as the Bretton Woods conference, in New Hampshire. The conference resulted in the creation of the International Monetary Fund or IMF and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The IBRD is commonly referred as the World Bank today, but it is actually the largest of five organizations that make up the World Bank Group.

December 18, 1971 - President Nixon declared that the official U.S. price of gold would be raised to $38 per ounce, devaluing the dollar.

April 3, 1972 - President Richard Nixon raised the official U.S. gold price from $35 an ounce to $38 an ounce. The change in gold price was the first made since an Executive Order by President Roosevelt in 1934.

August 13, 1981 - President Reagan signed the Economic Recovery Tax Act, reducing income taxes by approximately 23 percent over a three year period and lowering estate taxes. The ERTA also introduced indexing for inflation into the tax system.

ah

There are two types of xanthones in this fruit – alpha mangosteen and gamma mangosteen.

Xanthones and their derivatives have been shown to have several benefits, including anti-inflammatory. Xanthones are an effective remedy against various cardiovascular diseases. These antioxidants have healing properties which heal cells damaged by free radicals, slow down aging and ward off degenerative diseases and physical and mental deterioration.

RE: Post Your Current Mood 2

I dunno if any posters have tried it but i just purchased some goat colostrum capsules as I am trying to overcome a lot of antibiotic's that has caused tummy upset. (lots of untimely skid marks)
Therefore my current thoughts/mood is wrestling with that, issue this afternoon, perhaps tummy needs some colostrum (like new born do).
Since drip feed antibiotic for over week & half a few things seem to be upsetting digestion, including yeast, gluten and dairy, the latter been main reason trying goat colostrum. Want to see if that helps sorting whatever is going on.

In addition yesterday a bottle of Mangosteen Juice arrived in my door instructions take 30ml three times a day anyway besides when in the tropics is my most favorite fruit.
Mangosteen Juice which includes the rind is supposed to be loaded with free radicals / antioxidants...

to my mind i think rohaan expressed a view that inhaling is not something she has or would ever consider.
Probably a closed-minded person, lacking tolerance, flexibility or breadth of view, she is capable of being shocked so watch out steer clear

RE: Possible Coup in Turkey

Turkey allows US to resume Syria and Iraq airstrikes from Incirlik airbase

According to Hans M. Kristensen, the director of the Nuclear Information Project at the Federation of American Scientists, underground vaults at Incirlik hold about fifty B-61 hydrogen bombs--more than twenty-five per cent of the nuclear weapons in the nato stockpile. The nuclear yield of the B-61 can be adjusted to suit a particular mission. The bomb that destroyed Hiroshima had an explosive force equivalent to about fifteen kilotons of TNT. In comparison, the "dial-a-yield" of the B-61 bombs at Incirlik can be adjusted from 0.3 kilotons to as many as a hundred and seventy kilotons.

Incirlik was built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the wake of the Second World War; when Turkey joined nato, in 1952, it became a crucial American base during the Cold War. With a flight time of about an hour to the Soviet Union, the base hosted American fighters, bombers, tankers, and U-2 spy planes. And, like many nato bases, it stored American nuclear weapons. nato strategy was dependent on nuclear weapons as a counterbalance to the perceived superiority of Soviet conventional forces

Thousands of Russians Evacuated From Turkey

Over 450,000 Russians were evacuated from Turkey on Sunday following a failed military coup

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon said that Tel Aviv “respects the democratic process in Turkey and looks forward to the continuation of the reconciliation process between Turkey and Israel.”

Saudi Arabia “expressed the kingdom’s welcome that things are returned to normal led by his Excellency President Tayyip Erdogan and his elected government and in line with the constitutional legitimacy and the will of the Turkish people,” the Saudi Press Agency said, quoting a Saudi official.

Qatar also condemned the military coup.

“The state of Qatar expressed its strong denunciation and condemnation of the military coup attempt, lawlessness, and violation of the constitutional legitimacy in the Republic of Turkey,” Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

WikiLeaks reported suffering a “sustained attack” after it announced the upcoming release of hundreds of thousands of documents relating to Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the wake of a failed military coup.

Me or terrorists?' Furious Erdogan tells US to choose between Turkey and Syrian Kurds

Up to 21 academics were detained by Turkish authorities in mid-January for signing a petition demanding that Ankara abandon its military crackdown on Kurdish rebels in the southeast of the country. The petition denouncing Turkey’s military operation against Kurds was signed by as many as 1,200 academics. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said they all sided with the Kurdish militants, who are considered terrorists by the government. "Unfortunately these so-called academics claim that the state is carrying out a massacre. You, the so-called intellectuals! You are dark people. You are not intellectuals," he stated.

RE: Possible Coup in Turkey

P.S.
It is my contention flight MH17 was directed by West Ukraine Air Controller (while still in Polish Airspace) to lower its ceiling down to 30,000 feet change its course out of safe international air corridor and fly a course inside the war zone straight to a ex-Russian (pre democratic Ukraine's arsenal) a heading straight to a eastern Ukraine Russian backed resistance missile system that had ten km rage and range up to 30,000 ft that had a known location by the West Ukraine governments own admission...

An horrific event that killed lots of innocent people including 38 Australians and the a PM of Australia tried to pin on Putin....
That lead to NATO countries imposing sanctions on Russia errr, looksie Russian Oil Tanker now Sailing through Turkey again...

With an open mind consider all that as well...then read those links

Media: Turkey halts US-led strikes on ISIS from southern air base

Earlier in the day, the U.S. embassy to Turkey issued a warning for the Americans staying in the country. "Be advised that local authorities are denying movements on to and off of Incirlik Air Base. The power there has also been cut. Please avoid the air base until normal operations have been restored," the emergency message says.
Earlier, Ankara had given green light for Air Forces of U.S., Germany, UK, Qatar and Saudi Arabia to use the Incirlik air base for "airstrikes missions."

RE: The Aussie election

yeah lots of stuff goes by, if you spoke to depositors in State Banks the same sort of treatment occurred. With Supers even police super fund got cleaned out.
Its not just the one side of politics both are tared with the same brush, you get to vote for one or other even if both party leaders are full of it, both running around pleading for votes then come out claiming some sought of unrealistic mandate. and promptly bury the peoples rights to be represented in parliament in declaring he/that party is in charge.

Same parties who sunk family farms and small family business, sold pretty much all the countries utilities, port leases... Both parties been feeding china anything they wanted, accommodated chinese communist parties desire to smash capitalism by flooding economy with free good, chainsaws, power tools all manner of goods produced in prisons or state owned companies.

Currently i am watch queensland government try and force clive palmer to rectify something the queensland government did in Townsvile.
Dishonesty runs rampant right across the political divide

RE: Possible Coup in Turkey

As coup attempters have lost many spots they occupied Turkey’s top soldier Gen. Hulusi Akar, whose fate was unknown since late July 15 was saved from the Akincilar Base near Ankara through an operation, broadcaster CNNTürk reported.

It has been found out that he was removed from the headquarters of the Turkish Armed Forces to the Akincilar Base where the plotters used as one of their centers to command their attempt.

Government had appointed 1st Army Commander Gen. Ümit Dündar early July 16 during the absence of Gen. Akar. Akar’s health is believed to be fine.

ANKARA
Turkish F-16 jet controlled by coup-attempters bombed near the Presidential Palace in Ankara early on July 16, leaving five people dead.

A total of 50 soldiers surrendered, CNN Türk reported.

Three civilians were wounded in the artillery shooting.

RE: Possible Coup in Turkey

Gunfire and explosions have continued to rock both the main city Istanbul and capital Ankara in a chaotic night after soldiers took up positions in both cities and ordered state television to read out a statement declaring they had taken power.

The announcer said the democratic and secular rule of law had been eroded by the current government and that a new constitution would be prepared soon.

Freedom of citizens was guaranteed by the 'peace council', regardless of religion, race or language, the announcer said.

The military statement said the army had taken action to: 'reinstall the constitutional order, democracy, human rights and freedoms, to ensure that the rule of law once again reigns in the country, for the law and order to be reinstated.'

The military statement went on to say that 'all international agreements and commitments will remain. We pledge that good relations with all world countries will continue.'
