It's amazing. Your 7 yr old would prob enjoy Disney World, but we found it a bit boring, apart from the fireworks We spent the whole week in Universal and as for the shopping
It was my first time there, Albuferia. All I wanted was to chill out, and I did that with bells on, beautiful beaches, but I wouldn't go back, too commercialised for me.
