I used to be so bad that when my kids hit 11 or 12, they wouldn't stand beside me
In all honesty, I haven't had much to get excited about in recent years, it's more a case of shouting in frustration I suppose it all depends on the game really. Now, club games, that's a different story
I moved from England to a tiny rural village at the age of 11.
The only sport played there is football, so if you weren't into that, there was nothing else to do.....no youth club, cinema etc.
I was hooked from the first game I watched. Someone once said to me that they watched my son grow up on the sidelines of our local grounds......it was one of my proudest moments
