Take you time and read all those links, for example know what the Act's say, understand what's actually going on rather than just hoping the lawyer will do the right thing he might but for your own peace of mind try and work out exactly where stand
Foolkit page

The Law is not always as straightforward as it appears. Foolkit have not included any information about when and how to use there information or any traps. We assume that the Lawyers will know this.

Workers and employers covered by ReturnToWorkSA

Return to Work Act 2014

Return to Work Regulations 2015

There are three types of relief which may be available to compensate an employee who is unable to work due to an injury in the work place. These depend on the circumstances in which the injury is received, and the seriousness of the injury. The compensation will also go towards covering any specific economic loss or damage suffered. The forms of relief are:

Foolkit Free Legal Toolkit

People can be injured in a variety of situations. Most commonly, the injuries people suffer are physical but injuries can also be psychological in nature. There are laws in SA which provide certain entitlements and compensate people who have been injured in a variety of situations or different settings. The instances in which you might have an entitlement to benefits or compensation in SA include:

If an employee is injured in the workplace they should first seek medical attention and report the incident to their employer verbally or in writing within 24 hours, regardless of whether or not they want to make a claim for workers’ compensation.

In accordance with the Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations 1995, employers must notify SafeWork SA by telephone or facsimile as soon as practicable after an employee suffers a notifiable work-related injury.

in part:

The employer is required to pay the first two weeks of weekly payments to the injured employee while WorkCover is responsible for the continuation of such payments thereafter. However, if the employer provides a copy of the Claim form, WorkCover Medical Certificate and an Employer Report Form within two business days of the incident, they may not be required to cover the two weeks of payments.

RE: La Nino

In NSW we burnt off every year I was there, during winter local farmer (Fire Chief Doug) would light the bush along his boundary, and we'd all send one back, light line bracken then (only then) phone your neighbor tell him you had.
Done with feeling, and regard to the weather a slow cold burn would then wander along the ridges for a week or so, creep down into the gullies until the fire ran into damp areas...never a problem, the creatures had time to scamper to safety, soil was not baked, very little impact.
But that far to hard for academic townie clowns to comprehend.

RE: La Nino

We are not the only ones it seems:

Armed anti-government militiamen seize federal wildlife refuge in Oregon

The brewing standoff in the small rural town of Burns came after an estimated 300 people, including militia and local citizens, protested the prosecution of two local ranchers.
Dwight Hammond, 73, and Steven Hammond, 46, were to report to prison on Monday to face an additional four years after a judge ruled they had served too little time for setting fires that spread to government lands they leased to graze cattle.
The father and son argued they lit the fires to tackle invasive plants and prevent wildfires on their lands. The Hammonds have said the government has gradually tried to take away federal grazing rights, and through red tape and price hikes has made it difficult raise cattle.

RE: Would Hillary Clinton make a great President

Bush Fires here in Aust are destroying hundreds of home each year as governments stop fuel reduction cold burns in around 1990, really dangerous stupidity. I see USA has same sort of idiots running amok there to.
