RE: Just want everyone to know

you can rely on those links Micky

I studied lot of there views and assure you I do trust the source above all other.

Stay cool, its 37.9 degrees here and from that angle i sure as hell trying to stay cool also from other angle to...

Slowly slowly the way forward, just take your time and get back to all that other stuff later.
In observing mind you wont loose nothing, example you can recall single or lines of thought from years ago, once imputed on your mind stream they still be there later.
So as much as possible give decision / every day concerns a miss for couple days and just observe the thought streams without trying to figure anything out...just watch them, much more to learn from just observing till you ready to review any you think need attention, meanwhile have couple days off arms length observing the thoughts flowing by, tis really worthwhile mate

RE: Just want everyone to know

I understand you held other views in the past and please just tell me to pull my head in if that's what you feel....Micky, that's quite Ok I wont get upset or anything.

Otherwise if your interested I've sourced some information pertaining to functions of our attics, see if these help a speedy recovery...

Therefore an understanding of the nature of mind and its role is crucial to an understanding of human experience and the relationship between mind and matter. We can see from our own experience that our state of mind plays a major role in our day-to-day experience and physical and mental well-being. If a person has a calm and stable mind, this influences his or her attitude and behavior in relation to others. In other words, if someone remains in a state of mind that is calm, tranquil and peaceful, external surroundings or conditions can cause them only a limited disturbance. But it is extremely difficult for someone whose mental state is restless to be calm or joyful even when they are surrounded by the best facilities and the best of friends. This indicates that our mental attitude is a critical factor in determining our experience of joy and happiness, and thus also our good health.

thoughts to ponder:

Our desires are not limited to the things we can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. Our mind runs after ideas as greedily as our tongue hungers for tastes.

Realize that the nature of your mind is different from that of the flesh and bone of your physical body. Your mind is like a mirror, reflecting everything without discrimination. If you have understanding-wisdom, you can control the kind of reflection that you allow into the mirror of your mind.

Superficial observation of the sense world might lead you to believe that people’s problems are different, but if you check more deeply, you will see that fundamentally, they are the same. What makes people’s problems appear unique is their different interpretation of their experiences

It’s the foggy mind, the mind that’s attracted to an object and paints a distorted projection onto it, that makes you suffer. That’s all. It’s really quite simple.

If you don’t know your own psychology, you might ignore what’s going on in your mind until it breaks down and you go completely crazy.

Your up and down emotions are like clouds in the sky; beyond them, the real, basic human nature is clear and pure.

Be as careful as you can. Our minds are funny. Sometimes we are skeptical of things that are really worthwhile and completely accepting of things that we should avoid. Try to avoid extremes and follow the middle way, checking with wisdom wherever you go.

Real happiness in life starts when you begin to cherish others.

Less desire means less pain.

Once you realize the true evolution of your mental problems, you’ll never blame any other living being for how you feel.

RE: Just want everyone to know

Our minds are actually ego, true nature of mind is clear light.

Boss the mind Micky, take charge over ego by mindfully observing the thought streams rather than getting caught up in the thoughts.

Take charge by simply not been suck into grasping every thought that appears. I can assure you that you can do that.

Don't let thoughts streams obstruct your observation tell the ego where to get off.

Even tiny otherwise out of control kids minds can eventually understand what the word NO means, so can will the ego mate.

Instead of attempting to find answer or conclusion to each and every thought stream, just observe them without getting caught up in the old habit of grasping each thought that appears.

Enjoy doing it to mate

RE: Just want everyone to know

Just stay in the here and now as much as you can, that's reality the rest usually adds up to maybe land.
Just observe mind without grasping onto your thoughts, relax much as possible best way to do that is stay arms length from thought process, just observe the thoughts, observe how they appear and fad away then another thought subject appears it to will just go on bye another train of thought will takes that ones place, so take things easy just observe your mind

RE: BILL GATES!!... CLOSE THAT INTERNET UP!!!

I can't ague in relation to your comments because i don't know finer points of the subject. Could read up but haven't the inclination however try this source if your interested mate..

Introductory History of the
Five Tibetan Traditions
of Buddhism and Bon

Introduction of Buddhism by Emperor Songtsen-gampo
To survey the history, we need to go back to the seventh century of the Common Era. At the beginning of that century, a king from Central Tibet named Songtsen-gampo conquered the Western Tibetan kingdom of Zhang-zhung and created the first unified Tibetan Empire. The custom in those days to unify an empire was for the king to marry princesses from nearby kingdoms – neighboring kings were less likely to attack the palaces where their daughters lived. Emperor Songtsen-gampo married princesses from China, Nepal, and Zhang-zhung. These princesses brought with them the religions of their native countries. The Chinese and Nepali princesses brought Buddhist texts and the Zhang-zhung princess brought her Bon beliefs. Bon was the Zhang-zhung native religion.

RE: BILL GATES!!... CLOSE THAT INTERNET UP!!!

I purchased Laptops and installed Win 7 + full, all Office program Office 2000 Premium, patched that with Sp1, Sp2 and Sp3, shut down Win Defender, Firewall and Windows Updates and protect computer using other than Windows/Microsoft...
Just managed to obtain Full version Vista Home Premium + 2000 Office etc on another.

You can obtain disks on eBay that will update all the drivers etc, I've couple those one for 32 bit and 64 bit programs.
Did so because i got sick of Windows Updates deliberately (in my opinion) stuffing up DVD drives and other that one way or another forced you to upgrade, that what i perceived

RE: BILL GATES!!... CLOSE THAT INTERNET UP!!!

No no, that's complete rubbish New Zealand had civilian medical teams guarded by NZ troops deployed in VN in 1962.
First American GI's were killed in 1959, (that's not the ones shot down during French fighting) its the first American troops killed during an attack on storage facilities 1959.

You are not reading what i posted at all
S.E.A.T.O. which stands for South East Asian Treaty Organization was put together in 1954 to prosecute a coalition of countries to prop up the catholic attempts to push there rubbish on mainly Mahayana Buddhist Vietnam.

France occupied all of Vietnam by 1884. Independence was declared after World War II, but the French continued to rule until 1954 when they were defeated.

August 3, 1950
A U.S. Military_Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG) of 35 men arrives in Saigon. By the end of the year, the U.S. is bearing half of the cost of France's war effort in Vietnam.

June, 1954
The CIA establishes a military mission in Saigon. Bao Dai selects Ngo Dinh Diem as prime Minster of his government.

July 20, 1954
The Geneva Conference on Indochina declares a demilitarized_zone at the 17th parallel.

October 24, 1954
President Eisenhower pledges support to Diem's_government and military forces.
1955
The U.S.-backed Ngo Dinh Diem organizes the Republic of Vietnam as an independent nation; declares himself president.

July 8, 1959
The first American combat deaths in Vietnam occur when Viet Cong attack Bien Hoa billets; two servicemen are killed.

If you cannot post truthful replies please re-frame from commenting on my posts.

And whats more:
Clinton did not start the second invasion of Iraq, that was started by an American airforce pilot who had gone AWOL and went to Mexico until his father two years later brought him back, GW Bush went AWOL when he heard is unit was about to be posted to Viet Nam and later put commander america armed forces jacket on like he was a somebody.
Clinton fired cruise missiles into goodness knows where and at best killed some camels.
If you can't read then get someone to help you

RE: BILL GATES!!... CLOSE THAT INTERNET UP!!!

Just like to mention clown Bill Clinton, signed off on changes to world map to display Tibet as part of China, when however Tibet had never been part of China, never in all history had Tibet been a part of china, rather Tibet was illegally occupied by China in or about 1962/64 (also a finding UN made) and along came clown Clinton who supported the Chinese lies...

Way back in history
Genghis Khan, born Temüjin, was the founder and Great Khan of the Mongol Empire, which became the largest contiguous empire in history after his demise.

The Mongol invasion of Tibet can refer to the following campaigns by the Mongols against Tibet. The earliest is the alleged plot to invade Tibet by Genghis Khan in 1206, which is considered anachronistic; there is no evidence of Mongol-Tibetan encounters prior to the military campaign in 1240

The first confirmed campaign is the invasion of Tibet by the Mongol general Doorda Darkhan in 1240, a campaign of 30,000 troops that resulted in 500 casualties. The campaign was smaller than the full-scale invasions used by the Mongols against large empires.

So it could be said both Tibet and China were once a part of Mongolia but Tibet had never been part of China

RE: BILL GATES!!... CLOSE THAT INTERNET UP!!!

Tut I'd disagree

Australian Prime Minister rat-bag Menzies signed Australia therefore NZ up with S.E.A.T.O in 1954, the umbrella organization the Vietnam War 1954 - 1975 (year last GI's were killed in VN) fought under (first GI's killed 1959) the war was arranged by none other than rat-bag Eisenhower...

Eisenhower entered the 1952 presidential race as a Republican to counter the non-interventionism of Senator Robert A. Taft, campaigning against "communism, Korea and corruption". He won in a landslide, defeating Democratic candidate Adlai Stevenson and temporarily upending the New Deal Coalition.

Eisenhower's main goals in office were to keep pressure on the Soviet Union and reduce federal deficits. In the first year of his presidency, he threatened the use of nuclear weapons in order to conclude the Korean War; his New Look policy of nuclear deterrence prioritized inexpensive nuclear weapons while reducing funding for conventional military forces. He ordered coups in Iran and Guatemala. Eisenhower refused to send American soldiers to help France in Vietnam, although he gave the French bombers and napalm, and CIA pilots flew passenger planes to ferry French troops. CIA files released in 2005 showed that US pilots flew bombing raids with the French during Operation Castor, and two US pilots were killed during the Battle of Dien Bien Phu.

In case your wondering

Mirrorless cameras are interchangeable lens cameras that don't have the mirror and optical viewfinder that define a DSLR. In most other respects, they're extremely similar: with only a few exceptions, most mirrorless cameras these days are built around the same sized sensors as DSLRs, increasingly have similar lenses available, and can offer the same image quality.
