Friendship ( Archived) (131)

Some of my great experiences on this site is meeting with friends.

I value friendship so much. They fill up my days with great positive feelings of just about anything. I have traveled the world and met so many of them and I wonder if there are some on here, like me, that have met some friends? Love even?

Would you travel regardless of miles, if you can, just to meet them in person?

Thanks all for your participation.teddybear teddybear wine wine

The people online I only consider as acquaintances.

The people I meet in real life I consider my friends.

To me true friends are the ones who really and truly care and the one(s) who one spends time with unlike the internet.

It's pretty tough who your real friend(s)are.

Online one has to be on guard all the time and be careful of what one says to anyone cause there is a good chance comments will be purposely taken out of context to mean something totally different then what was previously said.

Someone did that to me in real life.I had told them one thing and they turned my words around to mean something negative.

CC thanks as always. Yes of course, your friendship depends on how you connect with them. And I realize, friendship takes place on both real and cyber. But I have some that I initially only chat with and discussed with on the web and then made it a plan to meet. So far, I have had the most exciting experience on meeting these friends and continues as a real friends both on the web and on real life.

Thanks CC.

Note: it is not very easy to establish friendship but I do find talking on the web would definitely encourage meeting based on the progress of that friendship.

Love it, hello there Prim. I am like you, do it for friends, although I wouldn't do it, unless there is enough trust established as I am aware of the dangers of meeting people who can be fake or not who they claim they are.

There are a couple of people I'd like to meet in person but because of distance that would be impossible.

Those very same people I would surely miss if I were to leave this site.

Indeed Prim..yes and that takes quite a while. I don't discredit the fact that friendship like all else in life can hurt and fail us, but that is true on everything. To me, life is way tooooo long without them, friends..

Part of my life is full of friendship. I can't ever be alone. I tried sometime when I was young, but there is more good and positive feelings I experience with friends.teddybear teddybear
