RE: The 50 Book Challenge Thread (no spoilers please)

Ive just finished a Thousand Splendid Suns....Im in two minds about this one.....I agree that it is an excellent book, fabulously written and raised my awareness on the suffering of these women and I would also recommend it as a great read....but at the same time the subject matter made it a bit difficult to continue at times and I found it very depressing but then Im a bit of a wuss lol......so will pass on the Kite Runner methinks....Im now reading something a bit more light called Second Glance by Jodi Piccoult....a work colleague gave it to me....so not quite sure if its my cup of tea yet....will report back.
