The look in her eyes, the warmth of her touch, the sparkle in her smile, the sweet smell of her body would be enough to make me feel like i could take on the world, not just be a king.
Observations on watching the video. 1.This sort of crime happens every day around the world.Father or mother absconds with child due to custody battle ect.Child abducted by stranger.Chases of all sorts, from stolen cars, armed robbery, terrorist suspects. 2.The fact is was Capitol Hill should make no differance. The president was in no danger. 3.The vehicle certainly needed to be stopped, but the safety of the child was the first priority, followed by the safety of the public. 4.When the car stopped at the bollards, the police cars that were with it failed to do there job. This was the ideal chance to box the vehicle in.The vehicle behind needed to shunt the target vehicle into the bollards, therby giving no room for it to get away. The shunting ddnt need to be violent, just pushed hard. 5.They were also slow to react when the driver started to get the vehicle out of that situation.Again, the vehicle should have been blocked. 6.By failing to do so,they escalated the situation, allowing someone, possible with a gun,and a child in the car,to continue in a dangerous manner, putting the public and child at risk. 7.Firing at a moving vehicle is dangerous.Bullets bounce off,not every shot is going to hit the vehicle, therefore putting others in danger. 8.Even after she escaped the first time, there were enough vehicle to continue the pursuit, and at a point where it was safe to do so,ram the vehicle,or force it into a safe position, causing it to stop. I was not impressed with the way the police handled it,and in fact,it appeared as if they panicked or had the lack of skill to deal with it. If it had been dealt with as suggested above, and she then started shooting at the officers, and there lives, the lives of the public or the child were in danger, then, if safe to do so,return fire. Whether this happened in the UK,Sweden,Norway,Spain or anywhere,my opinion wouldnt change. The officers, either due to lack of training, panic or recklessness didnt perform there duty in a professional manner. Officers all over the world face firearms, high speed chases, with or without having firearms themselves, and i would suggest those that have seen this would question the officers actions.
