rizlared: Footbridge over a stream at Lushan China Kwan-Yin, One of the oldest remaining bridges in China, Jiujiang, Jiangxi, China, Dated 1014
Great pics Rizlared... thanks for joining in...
in your first photo... is that just high grass or bamboo growing to the left..? on and between the rocks.. ?? n I think I can see another foot bridge in the distance not so far away...
2nd photo... historically... thank you for posting that... I guess that is a little gem... amazing how those bridges survived all this time, and wonder about who came before and crossed them..
Fab speckled lighting in and out of the trees there...

Hi, just long grass, and yes another bridge in the distance, it took about 4 hours to climb from the base to summit, following the stream most of the way and crossing many bridges, with an amazing waterfall near the peak, which left you wondering just where did the water come from lol I find the photo and post it
For merriweather, Waterfall two thirds of the way up the Lushan mountain. Not for voting ---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----
Molten rock formations from the volcanic eruptions that created the valley
