You really don't understand football! The reason Irish fans have such a good following , is to get a weekend away from "her indoors". Most of whom are so intoxicated, they have to check the media in the morning for the result! So in essence, it's just an excuse for a big "piss up"
The performance wasn't relevant to the result! Most fans travelled hoping for a result that would give them a chance in the return leg, which is exactly what happened. Greece got thumped 4-1 to Croatia in the first leg. A great game for the spectator. But whose fans are the happiest. The Irish , I would assume!

ATM , it's an internal matter. A couple of heavy handed demonstrations doesn't warrant outside intervention!Let the Spanish fight it out amongst themselves.
